"But sir!" Del, the man from the pro peace party face was grim. He knew the people of the pro war party had not told their leader the whole truth. "I am afraid that there are many powerful enemies on the surface! Some of which..."
"Enough! You can not try to swindle your way into telling me such blatant lies. I get regular reports about the surface. They only just recently had a world war and one side loss. What difference does it make? Are you saying we insectoids are not as strong as those other races!? Look at the technology we have! In the face of such power, what can they do!?" The man yelled.
Del let out a defeated sigh. He now knew that the leader of insectoids, Mergot, was not going to listen even if he had solid proof. But he really did not seem to understand that the surface was a much scarier place than he thinks. "Then by your will. Just remember, sir. I warned you." Del turned and left the office. Mergot only sneered at Del's back before going back to work on his plans.

Frost Haven Mountain…
The stars of the show had finally come out of the palace, one wearing a pure white dress, the other wearing a pure black dress. The fingers interlocked as they walked out in front of everyone. Yuthia smiled at everyone present as she spoke: "I want to thank everyone for coming here today on our special day. Sei and I both did not want a big wedding. We only invited those who were close to us. So I thank you all for coming here today.
"As you all know, it is tradition during a binding ceremony to tell how our lives intertwined, how we came to be a couple. I first met Sei when we entered the Goddess academy. It was a time where we were only friends. I myself was a bit off the wall, so I ended up doing some things I truly wish to never remember. But even though I was all over the place, the one who stayed by my side, never leaving for an instant, was Sei. Sei continued to stay by my side through thick and thin.
"It was not until recently that I found out about Sei's feelings for me. I originally accepted them because I was lonely, but gradually I realized just how much I loved Sei. But me being as awkward as I am, I was not able to bring myself to actually take things a step further.
"In a way, I owe the devil race and that Pope for making me realize that Sei was the one I truly wished to be bound to for all eternity, and today I will do just that. " Yuthia turned to Sei and looked her in the eyes, smiling softly. "Sei, I love you more than anything in the whole universe. Are you willing to bind yourself to me for all eternity?"
Sei had tears rolling down her cheeks that Yuthia gently wiped away with her thumb. Sei nodded her head up and down as she said: "Yes… I have only ever had you in my heart since we first met."
Sei then turned to everyone, tears still forming in her eyes as she said: "I have known Yuthia for a long time. Although she can be strange, a little perverted, and has stink feet, she is a kind person who will never leave her friends. What others do not see, I have seen it all. I have seen Yuthia at her weakest and her strongest. She is the only one in all my life times I will ever love. Even if I were to die and be reincarnated, I would still seek her out and hope one she would realize it is me. I, Sei, one of the goddesses of darkness, hear by bind myself to Yuthia the Moon Fire Goddess."
Sei bit the tip of her finger, causing a blood drop to form. Yuthia did the same. The two looked each other in the eyes and pressed their fingers together. After saying an ancient chant, two red strings flowed out of their chest and intertwined together, forming a knot in the shape of a heart. Once the knot was complete, the ends of each red string, the one from Yuthia, entered Sei and the one from Sei entered Yuthia.
"This is different from how ours..." Kana noticed the difference right away.
"This is the method the gods and goddess of the realm of gods use to bind themselves together for all eternity. It's a binding that goes as deep as the soul and will follow them through reincarnation." Creige explained then asked: "Do you wish to have this kind of binding?"
"Mmmm… When we finally hold a wedding for all to see, I want to be bound together like this. Creige, are you against it?" Kana asked as she gazed up at him.
"Why would I be against it? You are my wife and always will be. When you have finished everything you have on your plate now, we can hold the grandest wedding." Creige hugged Kana from behind. Kana leaned her head back and smiled brightly as she solid herself in Creige's warmth.
"Damn, get a room!" Camlia scoffed. She hated seeing two love birds getting all intimate in her presence!
"We tried, but you still barged in!" Kana retorted, causing Camlia to blush. It's not like she meant to, okay? It was just that she felt lonely, okay?
As the light of the binding settled, both Yuthia and Sei shared a deep kiss, sealing the deal and officially becoming a married couple. Fox High God Methiesee set off a bunch of fireworks that exploded high in the sky in many different arrays of colors. Rilneas brought out a few kegs of wine, and the after party had officially begun.
On one corner of the party, Ceilie sat with Nergal happily perched in her lap. "Are you enjoying yourself?"
"Mmm…. I hope one day the two of us will stand in front of friends and family and bind together too." Nergal answered.
Ceilie sighed. But thinking of how long Sei and Yuthia were friends for thousands of years, Nergal's words may not be too far off. "We will need to wait and see."
Kiliffia was sitting at another table drinking some wine when Fox High God Methiesee came over and sat next to her, causing her to blush. "What do you plan to do now?" Fox High God Methiesee asked.
"I will be heading out in search of my father. I am not sure if he was turned into an undead or not, but until I know for sure I will keep looking for him." Kiliffia answered as she took another sip of wine.
"Then I will accompany you. I do not plan to return to the realm of gods for the time being. Do you mind if I accompany you?" Fox High God Methiesee's voice was like flowing water when it entered Kiliffia's ears causing her to blush even more.
"You can..." Kiliffia answered softly. Ever since the day he saved her she couldn't help thinking about this man. So she was kind of happy that he would be joining her on her journey.
