"Your Majesty, we have an issue!" A soldier came running into the throne room. Emperor Bortus held his head, knowing what was about to be said will not be good. "Speak, what is it?"
"Two of the beastkin had decided to fight with each other as they make their way to the palace. The damage to the city is growing larger by the second!" The soldier reported.
Emperor Botus was beyond angry. He wanted to know why it was that when he tries to comply with what was being asked of him, that not only does he lose land, but even parts of his glorious capital city were being destroyed in the process! "Fine… We will now go into full scale war. Since the Rural Kingdom does not put us in their eyes, we will fight back! I will not allow my capital and my people to die for no reason!"
"I will send word to the General, your Majesty!" The soldier replied as he got up and ran out of the throne room.
Emperor Botus leaned back on his throne and rubbed his temples. "Are you still not able to break the barrier on the rooms?"
"Your Majesty, we have tried everything we could. No matter what we try, the barrier will just not…."
*Booom!*
The ceiling of the throne room suddenly broke apart as a figure fell through it. The figure crashed into the floor, creating a small crater. All the officials and even the emperor himself all stared at the figure as it slowly crawled out of the crater. It dusted itself off, then looked up through the hole, raising their fist, and shook it in rage: "Damn you, Yuthia, that was cheating!"
"What do you mean cheating!?" Yuthia floated down through the hole, followed by Creige and Sei.
"You kicked me up in the air, then shoved your damn stinky feet into my face!" Kana yelled out her nose was all wrinkled up in disgust.
"My feet are not that bad!" Yuthia knew her feet stink a little, but she felt they were not that bad.
"I almost puked up my breakfast! What the hell do you walk through!? I have never smelled something so rancid in my li... Hmmm? Where is this?" Kana looked around to see a fancy hall with lots of gold lining the edges of the walls.
"Ahem… This is the imperial palace. It seems you are here for your kin…." Emperor Botus did his best to compose himself. Looking at the four people in front of him, he had felt very pressured by three of them. As for the dragon girl, he did not feel she was too much of a threat.
"Oh? You're the baldy I talked to earlier… This is good. Very good. Since we are here, I will start my little conquest early and annex the empire for the Rural Kingdom." Kana said without thinking much. To her, the fact that the emperor was standing in front of her was the key to victory. Once you capture the leader, the rest will fall into place.
"You dare!?" Emperor Botus finally could not hold it in any longer. "You damn filthy beasts have been raising hell in my empire since you arrived. I will no longer allow you to do as you please! You wish to take over my empire!? Then you will need to do it over my dead body! Bow down in front of your master, you damn dirty beasts!"
Kana let out a sigh. "Yuthia, he said your feet stink."
"No, I didn't!" Emperor Botus suddenly yelled out. He had not realized he was falling into Kana's pace.
"But you called us dirty filthy beasts. There is only one in our group, and that is Yuthia. Her feet stink something horrible." Kana retorted.
"My feet are not dirty! I bathe twice a day!" Yuthia cut in, trying to defend herself.
"Then why do they smell so bad? Anyway, Yuthia, he said your feet stink, so go beat him up." kana's words seemed to have angered Emperor Botus even more. He waved his hand and said:"[Lightning Spear]!" A spear shaped lightning bolt shot towards Kana. The power behind it was enough to shake the entire palace he was in.
"You dare!?" Creige yelled out as he stepped in front of Kana. This lightning spear attack was enough to kill Kana ten times over. Creige would never let anyone hurt his little wife. He reached out with his hand and grabbed the lightning spear in the air crushing it in his hand as if it was just a fly.
"You!" Emperor Botus was shocked at what he just saw. He knew more than anyone just how much power was behind that attack but here in front of him, his attack was caught and shattered as if it was nothing.
"Since my wife wants your empire, submit now or die." Creige decided enough was enough. After all, this man just attacked his wife, he was no longer going to sit on the sidelines.
"Creige..." Kana walked over and pulled Creige's arm. "Let me fight with him."
Creige looked down at Kana whose eyes were filled with determination. Seeing her unwavering resolve, Creige let out a sigh and said: "If you are in danger I will save you no matter what so feel free to go all out."
"Mmmm…. Thank Creige." Kana stood on her tiptoes and kissed Creige lips before turning to Emperor Botus. "Since you wish to fight I will fight. You will become my first stepping stone."
"Heh… You are nowhere near strong enough to fight with me little girl. Just because you have a little power does not mean anything in front of true strength." Emperor Botus sneered. But he was happy that even if he was to lose today he could still take down one of these beastkins.
"Strength is indeed what runs this world. But one will not know their limits if they do not try." Kana took a deep breath and got into her fighting stance. This was going to be her first time going head to head with a truly powerful foe.
