“Weren’t we supposed to fight all of them?” Lily tilted her head. “And they are just waiting, looking at us as if they want us to initiate conversation first.”
“I’ll do it then,” Almond said as a chilling smile formed on his face and he took out a bow.
Pulling the string, an arrow manifested, pitch black with sleek silver and gold patterns as if a snake slithering and a tiger roaring.
Seeing that, the noseless slim man sitting on a throne with the Gibrelin clan said, his eyes narrowed. “These barbarians with no brain actually want to attack us without saying anything.”
Indeed, the Supreme Emperors were quite speechless.
“Look at that arrogance!” the bulky man of Karvalheim group’s leader burst out with dark-violet flames from his nostrils, causing space around him to tremble.
“That arrow…”
Indeed, Almond’s arrow was causing a manifestation a kilometer above him as a faint image of a wolf’s head had formed.
It was getting clearer by the second as the mirage itself was bending and reshaping space in the area.
Its eyes glowered more as they became bright with a dark golden hue and silverish-red pupils.
Golden lightning crackled on its obsidian-like jet-black fur which had strange spiraling patterns of silver.
It howled as Almond continued to shape this attack, literally creating a new ability of pure offense based on his newfound assets and existing powers.
While the wolf howled, the Supreme Emperors on the other side couldn’t feel anything from it.
They couldn’t even feel any threat from it.
“What kind of joke is that?”
“I literally can’t sense its energy reading or the amount of Prana energy he is using.”
Even Big D couldn’t help but narrow his eyes. “What the hell?”
Krala rubbed his chin. “The only thing I know is that a powerful intent is influencing that attack. Almond himself feels as if he has no impact or aura. The attacks feel null. A trick, an illusion of an illusion like it’s there, but it’s not.”
“But it’s not,” Big D blinked. “That shit is the most powerful thing he is going to release to date, and that’s just the starter dish. I knew his new Intent was terrifying, but to influence universal perception to this extent…Just this aspect alone can make him one of the most terrifying assassins.”
Big D sneered and added. “Well, those hot shots of Big Ten in Arcadia Spectrum must be frustrated as hell, too. If they want to observe better, they have to come here, which they can’t right now.”
At the moment, Almond was finished as he took his sweet time without using his consciousness at Hyper Realm for fast computing, yet it still took him less than thirty seconds to create this makeshift ability.
“Hello,” Almond spoke, a smile on his face as he looked at the hundred powerhouses. “So who among you is going to take this arrow head-on?”
The wolf above growled in a life-like manner while the arrow was whirled by a mystical yet beautiful collection of black, golden, silver, and crack red hues of streams, slow yet fast but ultimately, it looked calm.
Since Almond spoke, a woman sitting on a throne with the flag of the Zerphos clan opened her mouth. The camera focused on her as her melodious voice rang out, “I am Verina of the Zerphos clan. If your arrow can breach past this layer of defense, I’ll fulfill one of your wishes.”
She had a curvy hot figure with faint green-peacy skin. Two large antennas with blinking orbs at their ends grew out from her forehead, and she wore a thin layered dress of creme, green, blue, and red colors, creating a unique design.

Meanwhile, as she finished speaking, a rectangle shield the size of a fifty-meter radius vertically floated two kilometers ahead of their group.
The shield had a pattern resembling a strange creature with a complex set of horns, its eyes glimmering with brown and green mix, and it radiated a powerful aura of protection. Even those watching felt a sense of toughness welling in them.
“That’s quite a tough shield,” Krala spoke, his eyebrows raised.
“Would be able to break it?” Big D asked.
“She is holding back from the looks of it,” Krala said. “So yeah, it wouldn’t be too difficult to break it with one of my drilling lance of Piercing Terranova Series.”
“She is going to regret it,” Natalia snickered. “Almond! Tell her to get naked and dance after your arrow breaks the shield!”

On the other hand, Almond appeared a bit speechless as he scanned the shield.
“Are you sure about this?” he asked, narrowing his eyes.
Lily snorted and added, “Make an arcane oath right now that you will indeed fulfill a wish if the arrow breaks the shield.”
Verina appeared hesitant, but only briefly before she chuckled calmly. “Fine.”
She made an Arcane Oath, but also secretly empowered the shield. ‘Humph, there’s no way he should be able to break this.’
“Well then, suit yourself,” Almond said with a grin as he released the arrow.
And then everyone’s jaw dropped as they couldn’t comprehend anything.
Why was it moving so slowly?!
