Since he came from a race known as the Ancient Sword race, his soul was fragmented into millions of pieces so even if he is an alternate version of the original, it wasn't enough to make him doubt his existence.
The original can just merge himself with him, making him the original so if he ever wants to, he can become the original. And from what Sword Forged From Chaos knew, he wasn't the original nor is he an alternate version of himself which only meant that he is part of millions of fragments of the Sword Of Chaos. So, he instantly got over his existential crisis.
