Chapter 243-Reunion of the Holy Beasts
Dave realized that his grandpa Lucio lied to him about the dragon of his great grandpa Lucien, but he knew that he only did that to protect him, and he was weak back then. Then the Phoenix who received his treasure to evolve his bloodline must have been lying to him before, but he still accepted the treasure as it is beneficial to him.
All of his knowledge about them was a lie but he knew that they were only hiding it for the safety of the world.
The Ashura clan have almost the same looks as humans, but they have 2 huge horns and red skin. They are also masters in killing and using killing intent.
The Ashura King is a mythical figure from ancient times, known for his incredible strength and unparalleled power. According to legend, he was the leader of the Ashura Race, a group of divine beings who were revered for their strength and intelligence.
The Ashura Race was said to be one of the most powerful races in the universe, with abilities that far surpassed those of humans and other beings. They were known for their incredible strength, speed, and agility, as well as their ability to manipulate energy and the elements.
The Ashura King was said to have been the greatest of them all, possessing powers and abilities that were unmatched even among his own people. He was said to have been a fearsome warrior, with a fierce determination and an unyielding will.
Despite their incredible powers, however, the Ashura Race was not invincible. They were eventually defeated by the demon king of Pride who succeeded in sealing them away in a distant corner of the universe.
Dave realized the true importance of the 4 Holy Beasts and knew that he must protect them at all costs. The Ashura Clan might have already escaped the seal of the demon king and are trying to recover by devouring the spirit world.
After he finished reading, he tried to look for other things until he saw a shining pendant lying on the top of the cabinet. He took it and scanned it using his skill, but he only saw question marks, so he was sure that it was a treasure.
He injected his energy into it and then it suddenly vibrated and shone different colors. Dave was almost blinded to it until he appeared floating inside a domain.
He was stunned and didn’t know what happened. As he is still confused, 4 huge beasts appear in front of him with shocked and confused looks.
“What?”
Dave looks at the 4 beasts and recognizes 2 of them. The one is Flamigo, the Fire Phoenix and the one is the old turtle, the Black Turtle. Dave was now sure that the Dragon and the White Tiger were the other Spirit Guardians of the 4 empires.
“What are we doing here?”
Flamingo asked but when he saw Dave, he was astonished. “Brat, what are you doing here?”
Dave looks at him and doesn’t expect him to be pretentious and still arrogant. “Hmpp”
He released his aura and the phoenix suddenly fell to the ground.
Boom!
The Phoenix was scared but the Dragon intervened. “Dave, don’t do that.”
Dave stopped using his aura and looked at the dragon who was also sweating due to his aura. Since he is the beast of his empire, then he just does as he says. It was his first time seeing him, but he felt that the Dragon had always been watching him since he was a kid.
After that, he remains on the side and lets them greet each other.

It had been centuries since the last time the four Spirit Beasts had been reunited. The Azure Dragon, Black Turtle, Flame Phoenix, and White Tiger stood tall and proud, their majestic presence filling the air with power and grace.
The Azure Dragon, the oldest and the most powerful of the four, was the first to speak. “My dear siblings, it has been far too long since we last stood together like this. How have you been faring all these years?”
The Black Turtle, ever the wise and patient one, replied, “I have been well, brother. The seas have been calm and the creatures of the water have been respectful of our domain.”
The Flame Phoenix, the fiery and passionate one, chimed in, “And I have been soaring the skies, brother. The flames of my wings have lit up the heavens and guided travelers on their journey.”
The White Tiger, the youngest of the four and the most playful added, “And I have been roaming the forests. The beasts have been tamed by my presence, and the trees have grown tall and strong.”
As they spoke, they could feel the bonds of their brotherhood growing stronger. They had always known that they were stronger together than apart, and it was in moments like these that they truly felt the power of their unity.
“So why are we here?” Everyone asked but they felt that it was connected to Dave. Dave asked them about the history of the Spirit World and since he already knew it, they didn’t lie to him and tell him everything.
Dave now knows that the power of the Holy Beast is weak right now and they still are not recovering from the injuries they sustain because of the Killing Mark that was planted by the Ashura King when they fought before.
The mark continues to make them suffer and their strength went down from being on par with Demon Kings, to being Peak-tier Immortal. If it continues, they believe that they will die in the next 1000 years.
The spirit world is mysterious, and the 4 holy beasts said that this world appears out of nowhere and is the youngest world in the mortal plane. They didn’t even know the full history of this world.
They said that the only way for them to recover is to kill the caster, the Ashura king but they knew that it was impossible for Dave to do it.
Right now, Dave cannot promise to help them, but he felt that the pendant that can summon the 4 holy beasts is special, so he put it in his storage and thought of it if he gains enough strength.
He said goodbye to them and let them talk to each other.
