Yue Lan playfully responded,

Shen Yuan raised his eyebrow and focused intently on the Apex disciple of Thunder Cloud Sect.
“WHO!?” The Thunder Cloud Sect disciple turned around abruptly and threw out a lightning spear from his arms.
Shen Yuan’s eyes widened in surprise before he quickly raised his sword and channeled his own Lightning Qi inside it. BOOM! The spear and sword collided before the spear was slashed in half by his sword attack. His hand shook from the power of the spear.
He solemnly glanced at the Apex Disciple of the Thunder Cloud Sect, who was also looking at him with a serious gaze.
Even though he had struck without using his full power in his attack, most other disciples of even the Divine Grade sect wouldn’t be able to take his attack that easily.
His eyes briefly flashed with surprise. “Shen Yuan, from Radiant Lotus Sacred Sect.” He said calmly, looking directly into Shen Yuan’s eyes.
“Who are you?” Shen Yuan calmly asked while walking out of the forest.
By now, all of the other disciples had also noticed him; everyone looked at him warily, wondering if he was a friend or a foe.
Only the Apex Disciple from the Immortal Sword Pavilion and the other Apex disciple from Mystique Array Sect were looking at Shen Yuan with a solemn gaze.
They knew he was not to be taken lightly from the way he dealt with the attack of the Thunder Cloud Sect disciple.
“I’m Mo Yanhui, third ranked Core Disciple of Thunder Cloud Sect.” Mo Yanhui calmly replied, not minding that Shen Yuan didn’t know about him.
‘Third ranked disciple is already so strong?’ Shen Yuan felt his lips twitching as he realized that he would have to deal with the stronger ones eventually.
Despite calmly talking with Shen Yuan, Mo Yanhui’s hands didn’t stop attacking the beast. Even when he was in a worse position than others, the grace with which he fought the battle left others in awe.
“I wonder why Brother Shen has graced us with your presence here?” he continued, asking while piercing the beast with his spear.
The rest of the disciples’ ears also perked up, wondering how the situation would unfold.
Shen Yuan decided to play along and acted clueless. “Haha, I was just passing by this area. I didn’t expect to encounter the Core Zone of the Forest. I can’t help myself but be tempted to join in on the little expedition.”
Before Mo Yanhui could reply, the disciple of Immortal Sword Pavilion spoke up, “Brother Shen, I am Bai Wuji from Immortal Sword Pavilion. I have heard a lot about you and your supreme talent. We will be more than happy if you want to join us here.”
The other disciple from Mystique Array Sect also pushed back the beast a little before hurriedly agreeing, “Indeed, it will be our honor to witness your supreme might here, Brother Shen. By the way, I’m Liang Hui, It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance here.”

His body crackled with thunder as he utilized Thunderbolt Flash Steps and instantly arrived beside the beast. The disciples surrounding the beast looked at Shen Yuan with surprise.
All of them were in the late stages of Dao Core Forming Realm, so they could see Shen Yuan’s cultivation base as clearly as day.
He was merely at the peak of Extreme Origin Core Realm. They thought the Apex geniuses were treating him with courtesy due to his special status in the Radiant Lotus Sacred Sect.
