Shen Yuan helplessly smiled and nodded, “I will take care of myself, Mom. I already told you this hundreds of times.”
Yuxin just smiled warmly in return and didn’t add further to that.
Shen Yuan’s eyes flashed as if he just thought of something; he waved his hand and a portal formed beside him.
Wan Ling and the others turned to look at the portal, and slowly the figure of the Grand Elder of the Silver Fox sect came into view.
She looked at Shen Yuan in surprise before bowing towards him and the others, “Greetings, Young Master, and Mistresses.”
Shen Yuxin calmly nodded her head and accepted her greeting, while Bing Rong and Wan Ling felt their faces slightly getting hot.
Even after all this while, they weren’t used to this form of address from everyone.
“What are your instructions, Young Master?” the Grand Elder asked after standing straight.
Shen Yuan turned his chair and faced her. After thinking for a second, he said with a smile, “Well, I can’t keep calling you Grand Elder, and I forgot to ask for your name…”
The Grand Elder’s heart skipped a beat as she hurriedly replied, “Young Master doesn’t need to bother so much. You can just call me Feng Yu.”
He raised an eyebrow before nodding, “Then I shall call you Elder Yu. Have you finished stabilizing your foundation?”
Elder Yu nodded her head, “Yes, Young Master. Do you have some mission for me?”
He nodded and continued, “Yes, I want you to take a squad of ten from the Legion and go out to gather information about some races. It should be a warrior race with the highest potential. It doesn’t matter what their current strength is or if the members are weak. What I want is innate talent.”
Elder Yu’s eyes flashed as if she thought of something. “Young Master… are you thinking of establishing more Legions?”
He calmly nodded his head, “Yes, I will use the Solar Reaper Legion mostly for intel gathering and assassinations, not for frontal battles. And of course, I would need more legions for that.”
She solemnly nodded her head, “I will do my best to find such a race for you, Young Master.”
He hummed in approval, “And remember, do not interfere with them. Report back to me, and I will make the decision.”
“Ahem.” Yuxin coughed from the side and chimed in, “It would be better if you can find an all-female race or clan. I don’t want men to join in on the legions.”
Shen Yuan’s lips twitched slightly, but he didn’t say anything in the end. Elder Yu also happily nodded; she was originally from an all-female sect, so even she wanted there to be only females. But due to Shen Yuan, she wasn’t voicing out her thoughts.
He shook his head, “Anyways, all of them can be trained to become warriors. At worst, I will just tame some beasts to take the place of tanks.”
“Huh? Tanks?” Wan Ling turned her head and asked.
Shen Yuan waved his hand, “Ah, nothing. It’s just a saying from my hometown.”
He opened another portal, and Elder Yu entered inside to bring out a squad. Soon, all of them left to search for what Shen Yuan wanted.
“Your legion is really turning out to be useful,” Yuxin said, looking at the fading backs of the figures.
Shen Yuan nodded, “Yes, but it’s far from reaching their potential. I can’t mobilize them due to all of them staying in my pagoda. After this competition ends, I will need to look for a place for them to settle down.”
“Isn’t there such a good place already?” She looked at him with a mischievous smile.
He raised an eyebrow and thought for a second, “Our Sect?” He rubbed his chin and continued, “I thought of that as well, but I don’t want my legion to be exposed to others so soon. If they show up in the sect, then everyone will know they have a relationship with our sect.”
Yuxin giggled and shook her head, “They don’t need to show up in front of others. Radiant Heart Peak is large enough to keep them hidden. They can just stay at your mountain.
