When Kent teleported, he appeared inside his room, about 40 meters from Saintess Selene. Now that his teleport skill had been upgraded to [Blink], he could teleport anywhere he had seen or imagined.
This meant that if his divine sense detected a place within a 5000-meter radius, he could teleport there. It was a significant upgrade from the previous one.
When he appeared in the room, he sat on his bed and sighed deeply.
The events that had just happened were a lot to take in. In fact, Kent never expected things to escalate that wildly, that quickly. But things happened, and in a way, he had just revealed his plans to his master, who was left flustered.
While that was a bold move on his part, he also started to realize he was not that strong and could be killed at any moment.

He channelled his energy into the card, which caught fire briefly before an item appeared in his palm.
He quickly appraised it.

Right now, Li Hua was safe from the Ashland Noble Family, but he knew that wouldn’t last forever. So, he resolved to use his wealth to grow and ensure those close to him also became stronger so he wouldn’t have to worry about their safety all the time.

He was only holding back because of what happened during the battle at the Makosa Prison—how he had killed a Root Sage without knowing how.
He wanted to figure that out first before getting into anything else. He also held himself back from doing anything drastic that would endanger him and those close to him.
So, while he would love nothing more than to storm the Ashland Family and start a slaughter, he knew that was a bad idea.
For the next three days, he will focus on alchemy while waiting for the tower to render the recording of what truly happened during the battle at the Makosa Prison.
He moved to his workstation, retrieved the cauldron, and started concocting pills. His first one came out 98% pure, but after two more trials, he pushed it to 100%.
Meanwhile, after Lilian and Unity returned Li Hua to Saintess Selene, they left to go talk to her mother, who had been caught peeking at them during their intimate session with Kent.
Lilian knew if she didn’t do anything, her mom wouldn’t do anything and continue to hold herself back.
If only she had known that, had she held herself back for a long time, things would have gone haywire quickly.
