Kent spent some time understanding the dynamics between the Cosmic and the Soul Weavers he now has as his servants.
In the end, he could only thank his lucky stars for receiving such a blessing in disguise. The two were now his servants, and in a way, he couldn’t help but think that perhaps his life wouldn’t be boring after all.
Now, he understood what Gaia could do, and in fact, Kent had expected as much. He knew the Tower had more to it. And now, he knew why he felt that way.
First, she could use any and all forms of energy in existence.
This meant that with just a thought, she could take anything from anywhere in the universe. This, of course, explains why she has a store full of treasures.
That meant she was what most would call a cosmic thief.
But he was mistaken.
Gaia didn’t steal; it was more like she duplicates. Of course, she doesn’t duplicate everything.
For example, if she discovered a rare treasure that didn’t belong to anyone, she could take it. That didn’t amount to stealing, but she could duplicate it if it belonged to someone.
However, like everything, there were limits to what she could do. She couldn’t take everything that belonged to an entire race. At best, she could duplicate them and store them in her tower.
But there were some things that, even if they belonged to people, she would take—things that posed dangers to life and the universe if they fell into the wrong hands.
Kent then asked about the [Seven Primordial Chaos Relics], and she answered that she didn’t know where they were now. Did she even have the power to take them if she did?
Of course, that was a lie.
She can locate past and future fragments. This includes past relics that are missing in time.
She could detect them, but taking them would go against someone’s fate, so she refrained from doing so.
She could only work behind the scenes to lead her master to them. However, as to how to achieve that, she now realized her campaign to go solo had been the wrong approach.
She needed the Mind Weaver to help her craft a good plan. Their very existence revolved around such tasks. But they also had to ensure they didn’t weave so deeply into the path that would cause their master’s path to veer off course.
‘It was a mind-boggling ordeal.’
Kent was particularly pleased with his gains, but he knew there was something he had to do. Now that he had two Weavers, the answer began to edge closer to him.
‘Reincarnation is a path that cannot be tread easily.’
The wheels of the past were far more complex.
Take Kent’s case, for example. He knew for a fact he was an incarnation of many past lives, but he couldn’t just remember them outright.
It had to be a gradual process, perfectly aligned to ensure he walked a new path rather than repeating his previous ones.
That would create a kind of congestion. If that happened, his current path would fracture, forcing him to take a new one that led nowhere.
Playing with the cycle of reincarnation indeed had its downsides. But it also had its upsides—and one of those was having a Soul Weaver.

While recovering past memories can be beneficial, it also affects the soul. Having one remember and inherit power from past lives is not something that can be handled easily.
The soul’s influence is very high. This means if Kent were to learn more about his past, his soul would be influenced in ways he wouldn’t realize until it was too late.
Thus, the power of a Soul Weaver comes in.
The Soul Weaver has the ability to untangle the interwoven soul threads and re-weave the current soul to inherit the blessings of previous lives.
These threads contain the blessings of the past and the curses of the future. Having them entangled is like putting all your eggs in one basket.
The Soul Weaver is the key to untangling that. Kent can now remember his past without worrying about being overwhelmed.
After all, the quest to rediscover his soul should not be taken lightly.
But the soul can only do so much. The mind needs tending as well. Kent has no idea what kind of life he lived in his past.
When he saw glimpses of what he was capable of—and he loved it.
This positively influenced his mind. But that was because it was just a small fragment. The real problem arises when too many memories start flooding in.
The mind becomes congested, just like the soul.
But then, there is a cure…
‘Madness is not an option, says the Mind Weaver.’
The more memories he unlocks, the greater the danger of his current thoughts and past becoming entangled, which could lead to unpleasant consequences.
His personality will be affected, and worse, he might go mad due to the overwhelming influence of his memories. For this reason, he can only rely on a Mind Weaver.
Having distinct weaves for different pasts is essential. Knowing more about his past doesn’t have to derail his current path.
Imagine living as a swordsman in a past life but being an assassin in the present. Allowing the two to intertwine could destroy his current path—a disastrous outcome.
He must ensure that each past personality is woven separately. This can only be achieved by maintaining distinct paths and weaves for each life.
The Mind Weaver will be his most crucial ally when he begins walking the path of reincarnation.
“I will make it known to the master that without a memory key, he wouldn’t know much about his past,” Gaia said, making Kent smile.
He had already received a quest that would reward him with a memory key. This meant he would soon start recalling his past memories.
“I understand, Gaia. Now, it will be best if you two don’t fight. After all, you two will become babysitters for me,” Kent smiled.
“Also, since you two are practically useless when it comes to combat, never leave the Tower until I say otherwise.”
The two ladies pouted but didn’t say anything.
Naturally, a single punch from them would be enough to destroy galaxies. But since they were prohibited from fighting for fear of destroying the entire universe, they could only appear weak and do as they were told.
Then again, making them babysitters was both a good and a bad idea.
First, they would be babysitting an Atomic Divine Body—someone whose existence was as rare as they come.
Second, the two seemed like scam artists, and Li Hua was the master of extortion. She had already shown her true colours to Kent.
Third, he would put all three of them in the same place. Perhaps things would be different if it were only Gaia, but adding a Soul Weaver was a catalyst for disaster.
Imagine Akira being bored, and so she decided to weave and reweave a powerful class for Li Hua. Or worse, she got bored and chose to weave an overpowered skill for her.
Or worse, she got bored and decided to weave a powerful soul weapon for her.
Or, worst of all, she got bored and chose to take matters into her own hands and reweave Li Hua’s body constitution.
That was indeed a catalyst for disaster.
