Gaia giggled, making Kent’s face twitch. But he couldn’t deny her words; everyone would want to challenge him when they found out the Saintess had a disciple.
That would give him hundreds of challenges to cleave through.
“You’re right, Gaia; I’ll do it like that. This is a rare chance for me to become famous and show everyone I qualify to be the disciple of the Sword Saintess,” Kent said with a smile before leaving to check out the other features.
The first place he visited was the Eternal Sword Arena.
What he saw was more like a futuristic dojo. The tower truly meant it when she said the tower world she created would resemble modern Earth. Kent actually liked it.
The structure was made of glass, and just looking at it made one want to step inside. Inside, though, it felt like a world of its own, with customizable settings to suit any preference.
For now, Kent didn’t pay much attention to it since he was just looking around, but Gaia made sure the arena provided a relaxing experience while training inside.
After that, he went to the next place, the Enlightenment Stone, where, as he had expected, there was a pretty large stone sitting under an oak tree. His senses heightened the moment he stepped on it, and his body calmed down.
It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that, aside from practicing in front of the Sword of Enlightenment, the Stone of Enlightenment was the next best thing.
After that, he went to the [Sword Dream] space. Surprisingly, it took the form of an immortal cave. When he asked Gaia, she said it was a real thing picked from somewhere in the universe many years ago.
The moment he stepped in, he felt drowsy, as though he were being pulled into a dream. He immediately stepped out and promised only to enter when he wanted to experience the dreamlike realms where he could witness legendary swordsmen at work.
After that, he went to the last place, the [Perfect Sword View]. This place was similar to the Sword Dream space, but here, he could simply use Gaia to watch, like a VR simulation, the true nature of a sword skill or technique.
He used it to check the Elemental Lord’s skill. What he saw shocked him. If his mastery rose to its peak, a single swing of his sword could conjure a 1,000-meter-tall monster of his choosing.
He planned to use that space well. He even asked if other skills could be checked there, and the answer was yes. So his ladies could also use it.
Afterward, he left for the Alchemy Tower.
The moment he appeared there, the smell of pills and herbs assaulted his nostrils, bringing a smirk to his lips. Of course, he liked the smell; that was all he would be inhaling in the years to come.
He quickly moved to the first feature inside the Alchemy Tower.
“That is one good-looking pill room you made there, Gaia,” Kent said with a smile, admiring the cute jade pill room the tower had created.
It was made of black obsidian stones and jade. The exterior alone made the place very attractive. Kent entered, and as he expected, the inside felt like a world of its own.
There was also a cauldron sitting in the room, which revealed itself to be a Legendary-grade pill cauldron after he used his appraisal skills to check.
It was a pretty good furnace, far better than the Rare-grade one he was using. He wanted to take it away, but the tower explained that it was connected to the Tower’s storage, so he could summon it even when he was outside.
He left and went to the Alchemy Garden. He was shocked to discover there were also some herbs growing there. He was very happy about discovering something so good.
But he quickly realized they were all the herbs in his possession. It seemed the tower had taken them from his storage and planted them.
Still, seeing so many herbs growing at such a fast pace seemed surreal yet strikingly awesome. Ten days inside the garden equaled only a minute outside, so the rate at which the herbs were growing was almost visible.
Of course, if he wanted to increase the speed, he could simply feed the garden some beast cores or their bodies. That would add more energy to the garden and hasten the growth.
He also found out the Alchemy Garden could upgrade the tiers of herbs. Alchemy determines the grade of pills by the tier of the herbs used.
Tier 1 herbs can be used for Tier 1 pills. Of course, there are techniques to upgrade Tier 1 pills made from Tier 1 herbs to Tier 2 pills, but only if necessary.
The easiest way, however, was to use Tier 2 herbs for Tier 2 pills. Having a garden that could upgrade Tier 1 herbs to Tier 2.
Naturally, herbs upgrade on their own over time. However, they would need to reach a certain age to do so. But in his case, if he managed to add more energy to the garden, he could grow herbs that would soon upgrade to higher tiers easily.
After he was done exploring the garden, he went to the last place, the [Pill World]. It was similar to the Sword Dream.
This place also pulled one into a dreamlike state, where they would experience the world of Alchemy in ways that transcended common sense.
“Gaia, I’ve been meaning to ask, but are there paths for other weapons?” It was a stupid question, but he asked anyway.
[Yes. There are paths for it. In fact, most True Names come with a path they can walk. Just like your Night Rider, who follows a unique cultivation path.
So, while there are paths for the way of the sword, there are also paths for other weapons. The bow, spear, saber, and others have their own paths.
If you are concerned about your ladies, you won’t have to. The cultivation techniques given to them by the goddess are more than enough. Of course, if they are lucky, their True Name awakening will usher them into a new cultivation phase.]
