Immediately after, the five men released their Pokémon: Drapion, Houndoom, Krookodile, Pangoro, Gengar, and Garchomp.
Gui Ling was stunned looking at this group of fully evolved Pokémon. This lineup felt like it could compete in a tournament; why were they doing this kind of work?
“Gengar, you go first!”
“Gengar!”
“Go to the city and find help!”
Though Gengar was a bit unwilling, he still burrowed into the ground. However, the opponent's other Gengar also burrowed into the ground, and in a short while, Gui Ling's Gengar was launched out.

“Don't even think about it. Just hand them over obediently, and you can leave.”

Banette used Will-O-Wisp to ignite Gui Ling's tang katana. Then, according to their previous coordination, Gui Ling and Frogadier charged forward first, with the other three attacking from a distance behind them.
Frogadier and Noibat volunteered to take on Krookodile and Pangoro in a one-on-one fight, but it was clearly impossible to win, so they knew they had to try to stall for a while.
Gengar engaged the other Gengar, Banette fought Drapion and Houndoom, and Gui Ling took on Garchomp alone.

Frogadier and Noibat on the other side had also fallen. Noibat was bitten by Krookodile and shaken a few times, losing its ability to battle. Frogadier, facing a Pangoro with much higher level and strength, didn't last more than a few rounds and also lost.
Banette, fighting two opponents, was surprisingly evenly matched, constantly using Will-O-Wisp to find opportunities with its agility. After Houndoom used Thunderbolt, Banette dodged and immediately fired a ball of Will-O-Wisp. Houndoom narrowly dodged, but the target of this Will-O-Wisp was Drapion behind it.
Upon being hit, the terrifying Will-O-Wisp burned Drapion's body. Drapion let out a mournful scream and collapsed.
While Houndoom was shocked by the power of the Will-O-Wisp, Banette used Hyper Beam to hit Houndoom, and then followed up with another Will-O-Wisp.
Thus, Houndoom received its “favorite” Will-O-Wisp and “happily” collapsed.
“This Banette is actually so powerful?”
Gui Ling was also shocked at this moment. He hadn't expected Banette's strength to be so great, but Super Genggui, Krookodile, and Pangoro had already arrived, and Banette, having expended most of its stamina, couldn't possibly be a match for the three of them.
