With Mr. Rime defeated by Ceruledge's single strike, Leon now only had one Pokémon left.

Leon smiled and threw out his last Poké Ball. His ace Charizard stood on the battlefield, roaring a pillar of fire into the sky, its eyes fixed on Gui Ling.
"Interesting. Ceruledge, return. It's your turn next..."
Gui Ling took out a red and white Poké Ball, gently caressing a scratch on its surface that had once been made by a branch.
"My first partner! Yveltal!"
Yveltal's massive figure appeared on the field, exuding a wild aura. Its sharp gaze met Charizard's, and a peak showdown was about to unfold.
"Leon, didn't you say you wanted to battle my Legendary Pokémon? It's here! Right now! See if you can overcome Death!"
Perhaps influenced by Leon's emotions, Gui Ling also became a bit chuunibyou, starting to spout bombastic words on the field.

Yveltal let out a dissatisfied cry, finding Gui Ling's words embarrassing.

Charizard hastily unleashed Flamethrower, attempting to block the attack, but the Flamethrower instantly vanished into nothingness upon contact.
"Quick, dodge!"
Charizard quickly put all its effort into dodging sideways. This Death Wing narrowly missed, not hitting Charizard.
"Charizard, use Draco Meteor!"
Charizard opened its mouth to gather energy, then spat out an Energy Ball towards the sky. The Energy Ball then exploded, raining down on Yveltal.
Yveltal clawed forward with both talons, and a powerful gravitational pull appeared, absorbing all of the Draco Meteor. It then gathered this energy into a massive black Energy Ball, which it hurled fiercely at Charizard.
The Energy Ball struck Charizard, causing a violent explosion. As the smoke cleared, Charizard stood unsteadily, clearly at its limit.
Gui Ling watched this scene, a slight smile playing on his lips.
"Leon, your warm-up should be over, too, right? I don't believe you only have this much skill."
"You're right!"
Leon then recalled Charizard into its Poké Ball, and the Dynamax Band on his wrist emitted a red energy that transferred into the Poké Ball.
"Charizard! Gigantamax!"
After Gigantamaxing, Charizard's body became incredibly massive, surrounded by superheated flames, like a moving volcano. It roared to the sky, its voice shaking the entire arena.
"Gui Ling, take this! G-Max Wildfire!"
Charizard gathered all the surrounding flames, releasing a Moltres that charged towards Yveltal.
"Death Wing!"
Immediately, flames soared into the sky, and the aftershocks of energy ravaged the entire battlefield.
Gui Ling stared intently at the battlefield, his eyes revealing excitement and anticipation.
"Yveltal, enhance Death Wing with Dark Pulse!"
Yveltal obeyed the command, integrating Dark Pulse into Death Wing. The power of Death Wing instantly increased, gradually overwhelming G-Max Wildfire.
Charizard was constantly pushed back by this powerful attack, but it still stubbornly held its ground.
"Charizard, hold on!"
Charizard endured the impact, plunging its claws into the ground to stabilize itself.
Charizard's entire body blazed furiously, and it actually increased the power of G-Max Wildfire again. The Moltres instantly grew even larger, sweeping back towards Yveltal with overwhelming force.
Yveltal felt the opponent's attack pressing down again. When had it ever been held back by a mere Charizard for so long? If this got out, where would it put its old face?
Yveltal let out an angry roar, and Dark Pulse surged wildly around its body, further boosting the power of Death Wing.
The two powerful moves violently collided in the center of the battlefield, the deafening roar of the explosion and the energy storm sweeping all around, making Gui Ling and Leon's clothes flap wildly.
When the intense light and smoke dissipated, Charizard's massive body began to slowly petrify. Yveltal, though appearing somewhat strained, showed no signs of injury.
"Last attack! Max Wyrmwind!"
Leon saw Charizard slowly petrifying, knowing he had already lost, but he still smiled and ordered Charizard to use its final attack.
Charizard, dragging its petrified body, released Max Wyrmwind with its last bit of strength, attacking Yveltal in the sky.
"Brave Bird!"
Yveltal's eyes sharpened, and it suddenly flapped its wings, instantly unleashing Brave Bird, charging towards the attack.
Just as the two were about to collide, Yveltal released Death Wing again, directly piercing through Charizard's body.
Charizard's massive body crashed heavily to the ground, turning into a stone statue.
"Charizard is unable to battle! Therefore, the winner is Gui Ling!"
"You performed well today, but why didn't you use any of our self-created moves?"
Yveltal reverted from its Mega Evolved form and flew back to Gui Ling's side.
".........(No need. I'll use them when I meet a real opponent. I want a double portion of today's fish, otherwise, I won't battle next time.)"
