The IVE girls had hotpot and watched movies at Jiang Shu’s house, not finishing until around eight or nine in the evening.

Once the company's music library was shared, they wouldn't need to register copyrights one by one with the Music Association. As long as songs were uploaded to DM Entertainment's internal music library, the Music Association would automatically receive them, conduct duplicate checks and reviews, and issue copyrights if there were no issues.
This was a quick copyright registration method for entertainment companies. DM Entertainment was almost bankrupt before, so the Music Association certainly wouldn't waste resources on them.

"When will IVE's debut MV be released?"
"In three minutes," Choi Ji-yeon replied, glancing at the office clock.
That would be ten in the morning.
Jiang Shu made an 'okay' gesture.
"You go handle it."
Choi Ji-yeon bowed to Jiang Shu, then exited the office.
Jiang Shu turned on his computer, opened his most frequently used music software, searched for IVE, looked at the solitary song, and waited.
When the time on the computer reached ten o'clock, he refreshed the page, and a small TV icon appeared next to the song 'I AM'.
Clicking on it, IVE's completed debut MV popped up.
How could the classic 'hopscotch' (jumping off the plane) segment from 'I AM' be missing?
Although the alternative version of IVE's debut MV didn't take a mature route compared to the original, Zhang Yuanying's 'hopscotch' and IVE's group dance on the plane were both arranged and in place.
The original MV gave Jiang Shu a feeling that IVE earned money, but Starship (the original agency) was still very provincial.

The MV and the song felt like they were doing their own separate things.
The last time Jiang Shu had this feeling was with Jay Chou's 'Red Dust Like Frost'.
The song was Chinese style, but the MV was in an American style like the Jabbawockeez, making the whole thing a complete mess.
So, Jiang Shu had someone revise the alternative version of IVE's 'I AM' MV, changing it to a style where youthful girls stood on stage, about to showcase their superstar potential.
