“So, this is your reason for running away from home?”
The next day, on the train to Seoul, Jiang Shu looked at Bae Joo-hyun sitting beside him and felt a headache coming on.
“I’ll handle things with my family; I won’t cause any trouble for the company,” Bae Joo-hyun said with a smile to Jiang Shu.
“I hope so,” Jiang Shu said helplessly, feeling like he had just abducted someone’s daughter.
Overnight, I became a scoundrel?
“Old man, your daughter left on my motorcycle!”
What kind of situation is this?
“President, please rest assured. Once I arrive in Seoul, I will message my family to let them know I’m safe.”
Bae Joo-hyun’s actions also had another meaning: to make Jiang Shu, who might potentially have other ideas, hesitate.
If she went missing or something happened to her, being in a runaway state would allow Min-ah Jeon and her family to notice something was wrong immediately.
Chasing her dream was fine, but she wouldn’t completely gamble with her safety.
“Mm, send it after you get to the trainee dorm,” Jiang Shu nodded and said.
“How many people are in the trainee dorm?” Bae Joo-hyun continued to ask.
“Just you. All the other trainees have their own residences.”
These trainees either owned property in Seoul or rented in Seoul. Unless there were special requirements, they wouldn’t usually stay in the company’s dorms.
“I see,” Bae Joo-hyun nodded, slightly relieved.
That’s good.
She was quite afraid of living with a group of young girls; it would make her feel like a mother.
Jiang Shu glanced at Bae Joo-hyun, who was deep in thought, and said nothing more.

“Let’s go. My car is in the parking lot outside.”
“Yes!”
Bae Joo-hyun quickly responded, carrying her suitcase and following Jiang Shu.
Arriving at the parking lot, Jiang Shu pulled out his car keys from his pocket and led Bae Joo-hyun to his car.
Bae Joo-hyun couldn’t help but take a couple of extra glances at the car, which looked very expensive.
Jiang Shu ignored her, opened the trunk, and found that the space seemed to be insufficient?
“Put the suitcase in the back seat,” Jiang Shu said to Bae Joo-hyun after closing the trunk.
“Ah? My suitcase is a bit heavy and a bit dirty…”
Jiang Shu waved his hand.
“It’s an old car. I’m planning to replace it anyway. Just put it in.”
The new Panamera model had been restyled, both front and rear. Especially the taillights on the rear had been changed to a continuous strip. The large headlights on his current car didn’t look good, so Jiang Shu was planning to replace it with the latest model.
Since Jiang Shu said so, Bae Joo-hyun followed suit.

Bae Joo-hyun chuckled awkwardly and also pulled open the passenger door and sat down.
“Including you, the company currently has seven trainees, all female. Our company doesn’t debut boy groups; we specialize in girl groups. So, for older trainees like you, we also have relevant debut plans.”
“You’re older, so you have concerns. I won’t hide anything from you, so you don’t overthink things.”
“The company currently has a collaboration project with S.M. Entertainment. You are very suitable for it. In a while, I will take you and the other trainees to meet with S.M.’s representative to discuss the new girl group.”
“Keep this information to yourself; don’t tell anyone else.”
Bae Joo-hyun was, after all, “older,” so Jiang Shu needed to make her feel at ease during training. Otherwise, with a restless mind, how could she calm down and improve herself?

“As long as you heard clearly,” Jiang Shu replied, “The company’s training intensity is not low. Do you have any singing and dancing foundation?”
“Yes, I’ve always been practicing dance. As for vocal music, I learned it when I was a trainee before, but I haven’t reviewed it in many years, so I might have forgotten most of it,” Bae Joo-hyun said hesitantly.
“It’s good that you have a foundation,” Jiang Shu nodded.
Anyway, he didn’t expect Bae Joo-hyun to be the main vocalist or main dancer, so her skill level didn’t matter as long as it was passable.
“Can I do it like this?” Bae Joo-hyun asked curiously.

She had also watched the stage performance of DM Entertainment’s only promoted girl group, IVE, last night. The visual impact was indeed very strong, but their stage skills didn’t seem to be as strong as Rainbow Girls.
“Alright, you can watch more of IVE’s stages to get a feel for it,” Jiang Shu said to Bae Joo-hyun, glancing at the toll booth not far away.
“Yes.”

Silence fell inside the car, with only the hum of the engine.
On the highway, Jiang Shu listened to music and drove, while Bae Joo-hyun in the passenger seat wore headphones and watched IVE’s debut stage on her phone.
IVE was DM Entertainment’s only girl group to have promoted songs; the two previous girl groups they launched had failed and never appeared on music shows.
IVE, however, had many music show stages, a total of nine. After securing nine consecutive wins, they concluded their promotion period.
Actually, IVE could have continued to win, but DM Entertainment ran out of money; otherwise, IVE’s winning streak wouldn’t have been just nine.
But even nine consecutive wins still broke the record in the girl group industry. Before IVE, the six-time consecutive win record was held by Rainbow Girls’ mini-album title track.
After IVE’s debut, they achieved seven, eight, and nine consecutive wins, breaking many records in the girl group industry.
It could be said that every one of IVE’s activities broke the existing limits for girl groups.
Bae Joo-hyun watched IVE’s debut stage while learning about IVE’s related information, gaining some understanding of IVE’s members.
After all, these were artists she would have to call “seniors” in the future, so she needed to remember each of their names.
