Chapter 16: Answering Some Questions
1. Timeline.
The current year in this book is 2018.
2. Artists' Ages.
Their ages are exactly the same as in reality. Xiao Liu is eighteen, and Yuan Shen is fourteen at this time.
3. Group Issues.
The overarching background of the game world begins with the second generation, meaning all known K-pop groups from reality did not debut as scheduled.
For example, Kim Tae-yeon, who would have already been a solo artist for three years by 2018 in reality, might be teaching at some school right now.
S.M.'s Rainbow Girls has no relation to DSP's group; it is a fictional group.
4. Group-Exclusive Bonds.
For instance, 'Six Standing Illustrations,' 'Four Stopwatches,' etc., these are bonds that can only be triggered by the original members of a group. For example, the current Dark IVE can only trigger two bonds: 'Double C' and 'Yuan You Hui.' The former is triggered by Xiao Liu and Yuan Shen, while the latter is Yuan Shen's own exclusive bond. They cannot trigger 'Six Standing Illustrations' or 'Four Stopwatches.'
The original members will be reformed later.
5. The Issue of the Dark Four Heavenly Kings.
I actually wrote in the text that their "landmines" are not major problems; it's just that, compared to the value they demonstrate, it's not worth expending too many resources to explain or whitewash them.
Regardless of whether a "landmine" is true or false, once it's exposed, it will definitely require resources to resolve and will impact the company. DM Entertainment, which is just starting, cannot handle these "landmines."
Especially Lisa's major "landmine," which could directly lead to DM Entertainment's demise, is why she was sent away. The other three Heavenly Kings are more of a playful nickname; they do have "landmines," but they are within an acceptable range. At least for now, DM Entertainment has no other choice.
6. Update Schedule.
Two chapters will be updated at 7 AM, and one chapter at 2 PM. After receiving recommendations, there will be occasional bonus updates. Any changes will be announced; if not stated, the update schedule is as above.
