“That long?” John was surprised, but at least there was still time.
“Let’s go, then. Time to attend this meeting.”
His goal wasn’t just to attend the King’s Meeting, but to become one of the seven great kings. Now, he had the power to do so.
With a thought, his three avatars flew out, remaining within World-in-Hand to guard everything. They could also cultivate there and grow stronger.

Suddenly, the sound of battle filled the air, and a foul stench wafted toward them.
The group looked around to see the surrounding scene clearly.
After John had refined Endless Desert, it had vanished, leaving only the Dark City and the edge of the Endless Desert connecting.
A narrow strip of desert separated the two sides, where a fierce battle was breaking out between the adventurers and the Black Magicians of Dark City.
As John and the others appeared, the Black Magicians immediately set their sights on them.
“Godslayer!” The leader of the Black Magicians recognized John’s identity, exclaiming in shock. He quickly issued an order, “Go! Don’t let these people escape!”
John and his group had been specifically targeted by Senren, and Dark City had already issued a bounty. Anyone who captured them would be richly rewarded.
The Black Magician army immediately abandoned the adventurers, turning their attention to John and his group.
“Hmph, overestimating yourselves!” John sneered. The leader of the Black Magicians was only at the eight-star level, hardly a match for him and his companions.
With a casual wave of his hand, endless sword light surged, radiating an aura of overwhelming slaughter. Several of the Black Magicians were instantly cleaved apart.
Only three of them, who were at the eight-star level, barely managed to block his strike. However, they were deeply shaken and did not dare approach him any further.
“Let’s go!” John had no interest in dealing with these individuals. He jumped onto Avis’s back, leading the others as they boldly left the battlefield.
The Black Magicians did not dare to stop them any longer.
“My lord, could it be that this man has refined Endless Desert?” one of them suddenly thought of something, looking at the leader of the Black Magicians in surprise.
“That’s possible!” The leader nodded. John’s power had increased significantly, and with the disappearance of Endless Desert, it seemed likely that he had indeed refined the desert.
His expression changed slightly as he realized the secret behind Endless Desert. He quickly spoke, “We must inform Lord Senren.”
Senren had already left Dark City, preparing for the King’s Meeting. The leader couldn’t help but feel a little uneasy.

sky.

Under the guidance of one of the city’s guards, he entered the Fire Mountain at the back of the
city.
At the top of Fire Mountain, a flat area had been cleared for the meeting.
Nine Phoenix Emperor sat upright in the primary seat, while seven chairs were placed on a
stone table in front of her, six of which were occupied.
Among those seated were the Heavenly King and Forest King Great Bear.
These six were the Seven Great Kings of the Realm of Chaos.
The chair representing the Serpent King Medusa was vacant. Everyone glanced at the empty seat with some confusion but didn’t give it much thought.
Fire Phoenix gazed at the empty chair and frowned slightly. She had already warned John, but
for some reason, he still hadn’t arrived. However, the meeting had already started, and it wouldn’t be appropriate to delay any further. She looked around at the six others and calmly spoke, “There are two matters for this
King’s Meeting.”
Everyone immediately straightened up and turned their attention to Fire Phoenix.
She continued slowly, “The first matter, you should have already heard some rumors. Serpent
King Medusa has fallen. We need to select a new King.”
“Medusa is dead?” a muscular bald man exclaimed, his brow furrowing as a powerful aura
radiated from him.
He was War King, one of the Seven Great Kings, at the peak of nine-star strength, second only
to Heavenly King in power.
Nine Phoenix Emperor nodded and continued, “Yes, it was done by Senren from Dark City.” The Forest King and Heavenly King exchanged a glance but said nothing further.
At that time, Medusa had already escaped from Dark City, so it was likely his death had
nothing to do with Senren.
But since Nine Phoenix Emperor had spoken, if she said it was Senren’s doing, then it was
Senren who did it.
“Damn, Celestial Vault is becoming more and more lawless. This is a blatant challenge to us,”
War King growled angrily.
“Indeed, we must retaliate!” said a man in golden armor, his aura equally as strong as War
King’s.
