“Stubborn fool!” John was furious. He immediately unleashed Heaven and Earth Transformation, and the two clashed once more in a fierce battle.
Around them, soldiers quickly surged forward, and the two sides once again engaged in intense combat.

The sound of explosions echoed through the air.
John had just fought Skybroke, and his soul was severely wounded. His injuries hadn’t fully healed, and he was unable to exert his full strength. He was no match for Yealper.

A terrifying blade of light flashed, and John was sent flying.
“Dammit!” He wiped the blood from his mouth and cursed through gritted teeth. Yealper’s strength was no less than that of a mid-stage Nine Star powerhouse. With his current condition, he was no match for him.
“Hmph, with your weak strength, you can’t even handle me, yet you dare boast about slaying Lord Skybroke!” Yealper sneered, certain that John was lying.
John furrowed his brow. To deal with this guy, he would have to use World-in-Hand once again.
His mind moved, and he was about to activate World-in-Hand, intending to trap Yealper inside it.

Suddenly, a loud explosion rang out as the entrance to the Underground City was blasted open. Countless figures in black robes poured in, including Bloodthirst Beasts and Corrupted
Demon-Humans.
At the forefront were Senren and Medusa.
“Senren, I wasn’t lying to you. They’re all hiding here!” Medusa said excitedly, her gaze cold as she fixed her eyes on John. “Human, I told you I would make you pay a heavy price. Today is your day of death!”
Both sides stopped fighting.
John coldly stared at Medusa. This person was truly relentless, and what was even worse was that she always managed to escape.
“Dammit!” Yealper cursed.
It was because of this human that he had let his guard down around the defenses of Underground City, allowing Senren and his forces to break in.
Suppressing his anger, he turned to John and said, “Human, let’s cooperate. The city has already been exposed. If we execute the plan now, we can only escape by sacrificing Gaka.”
John scoffed, shaking his head calmly. “No. Gaka won’t be sacrificed, and Skybroke is already dead. However, I do have a suggestion: You all in Underground City-ignite the magma.”
“Ignite the magma?” Senren, who had overheard their conversation, changed his expression. “Hmph, no one is escaping today. Kill them all!”
At his command, he charged toward Yealper, and the army behind him followed, howling as they attacked.
The scene erupted into chaos once again.
“Dammit!” Yealper cursed, unwilling to deal with John any longer as he focused all his energy on defending against Senren’s attack.
Boom! Boom!
Countless Black Demon Bombs screamed through the air, exploding with violent force, causing the entire Underground City to tremble.
The people of Underground City, their eyes bloodshot as though driven mad, charged toward the Black Magicians’ army, detonating themselves in suicide attacks.
The terrifying sounds of explosions filled the air as Senren’s forces-Bloodthirst Beasts, Corrupted Demon-Humans, and Black Magicians-were thrown into chaos. The casualties were immense.
The entire Underground City had turned into a hellish battlefield, and for a moment, no one paid attention to John and the others.
He glanced at Sword Demon and quickly said, “Notify the Forest King. The plan is advancing. Prepare to attack Dark City.”
“Understood!” Sword Demon’s eyes lit up. He pulled out a communication stone and immediately sent a message to the Forest King.
John’s gaze locked onto Medusa, who was hiding in the rear. He charged directly toward her.
This guy was devious and cunning, playing both sides. He deserved to die a thousand deaths. This time, there was no way he would let her escape.
“Human, do you really think I fear you?” Medusa’s face darkened as she shouted, transforming into her true form. A giant golden serpent shot up and lunged toward him at lightning speed.
“Hmph, this time you will die!” John snorted coldly, and a violent wind whipped around him. The powerful pressure emanating from him filled the air as he activated the divine skill Heaven and Earth Transformation, turning into a towering giant.
“Die!” Medusa opened her enormous maw, her curved fangs gleaming with a cold, deadly light as she attempted to swallow him whole in a single bite.
John showed no fear. He clenched his fists and struck down with all his might.

With a deafening roar, Medusa took the full force of his punch, staggering back, dazed. But she quickly regained her senses, her long serpent body coiling tightly around him, constricting with incredible strength.
The two were locked in a deadly struggle, one human and one snake. John, still reeling from the heavy blow to his soul, was unable to take her down in such a short time.
Meanwhile, others were embroiled in chaotic battles with Senren and the people of Underground City.

“John, this place can’t hold up much longer!” Sini, dodging falling debris, said with a grave expression. “We need to get out of here now!”
John glanced up, then spoke, “Prepare to break through!”
He had originally planned to follow Yealper’s scheme and ignite the underground magma beneath Dark City.
But now, with Senren and his forces attacking early, the plan had to be altered.
Boom!
A loud explosion echoed as Yealper vomited blood and was sent flying. He crashed to the ground near John.
Yealper was powerful, but he was no match for Senren. If this continued, the situation would
be dire.
When he saw John, his eyes brightened. He immediately shouted, “Human, we’ll settle our grudges later. Release Lord Skybroke now, or none of us will escape!”
At this point, only Skybroke could stand a chance against Senren.
John glanced at him coldly and said, “I told you, Skybroke is already dead.”
“Impossible!” Yealper still refused to believe it.
Skybroke had been a peak Nine-Star powerhouse, and most terrifyingly, he was a fully merged Overseer with World-in-Hand. Even if only his heart remained, he should have been able to easily devour John’s World-in-Hand and defeat him with ease.
He couldn’t be bothered to explain to Yealper and continued charging toward Medusa.

Medusa’s eyes lit up. His enormous serpent body shrank, and without hesitation, he dashed toward the newly formed passage.
“Stop!” John bellowed, chasing after her, while simultaneously shouting to the others, “Stop
fighting, get out of here quickly!”
“None of you will escape today!” Senren, noticing their intentions, summoned the power of dark laws. A massive Dark Orb whistled through the air and headed straight for the passage.

A thunderous explosion echoed as debris flew, and dust filled the air. The newly formed
passage collapsed instantly, and Medusa couldn’t escape.
Senren, ignoring the injured Yealper, turned and charged toward John.
Endless dark laws surged around him, pressing forward.
John’s face slightly changed. Senren was a Nine-Star powerhouse, and he was no match for
him.
In just one exchange, he was blasted away by Senren’s attack, spitting blood, his injuries
worsening.
He glared at Yealper, who was hiding to the side, playing dead, and shouted angrily, “Yealper, aren’t the people of Underground City not afraid of death? Why don’t you blow yourself up and take Senren down with you?”
Among their group, only Yealper’s self-destruction could pose a real threat to Senren.
“Why don’t you blow yourself up?” Yealper’s face darkened, his teeth clenched in anger.
The people of Underground City were fearless, but those who served him and Skybroke weren’t going to die for others.
“Hmph, selfish!” John sneered in disdain. He had seen Yealper’s true colors.
At that moment, Senren charged again.
With no choice, John had to continue fighting. If he could just hold on until the Forest King
arrived, there might still be a chance.
“John, over here!” At that moment, Sini and the others managed to clear an exit and shouted
-out.
John, still entangled with Senren, couldn’t break free.
“Damn it, Creation and Destruction!” John roared, immediately activating Creation and
Destruction, accelerating the destruction of Underground City.

A massive blade of light, carrying an aura that could destroy the heavens and the earth, cut
through the air. The space itself shattered, creating multiple rifts. Endless space currents surged, devouring everything in their path.
Above, giant rocks continued to fall, and the people of Underground City could only suffer
under the relentless bombardment.
Senren, momentarily careless, was buried beneath a pile of falling debris.
“Go!” John seized the opportunity and quickly charged toward the exit.
Medusa and Yealper’s eyes lit up. The two of them followed closely behind. John didn’t stop them. These two could serve as perfect bait to draw Senren’s attention.

Senren burst out from the rubble, his fury burning as he watched John and the others fleeing.
“Forget about those idiots, chase down the ones running away!” Senren ordered his subordinates, “The people of Underground City are nothing but a bunch of dying lunatics. They’ll self-destruct on their own. Even if they don’t act, they won’t last much longer.”
“Understood!” His forces reacted quickly, abandoning the Underground City residents, and started pursuing John and the others.
At this point, John and his group had entered the sewer system.
The tunnels here were a labyrinth, branching out in every direction. The group had no idea
which way to run.
“Where’s Medusa?” John suddenly remembered Medusa. Only that guy was familiar with the underground tunnels.
“Damn it, that bastard ran off.” Sword Demon cursed, realizing he had forgotten about Medusa in his moment of carelessness.
Not only that, but Yealper had also disappeared.
John ground his teeth and said, “Forget it, let’s just get out of Underground City first.”
He picked a random tunnel and moved quickly, searching for an exit to the surface.
The Underground City was too complex, and they couldn’t tell which direction to go. Trying to
escape from here seemed impossible.
“John, there’s an upward tunnel.” Cand-Dragon’s voice came through, and soon, the group
found a tunnel leading upward.
“Let’s go.” John took the lead, smashing through the tunnel’s entrance and quickly emerging
back to the surface.
The surroundings were still shrouded in a dull, oppressive atmosphere. They were still in Dark City, but they had no idea which area they were in. “Has Forest King made his move yet?” John asked, scanning the unfamiliar surroundings.
With just the few of them, it was impossible to destroy Dark City. The best course of action was to escape for now.
Sword Demon nodded. “They’ve already breached Dark City, but we can’t pinpoint our exact
location.”
John frowned and said, “Find someone and ask them where we are.”
The group looked around, trying to spot any residents of Dark City.
