Yamanaka Shin then looked at Feng Zheng and said, "Alright, kid, let's see how good your talent is for becoming a Sensor Ninja. If your talent is poor, then I won't teach you, and you shouldn't waste your time."
He first taught Feng Zheng some things about what a Sensor Ninja does and how to do it.
Then he instructed Feng Zheng to meditate and told him how to sense his Chakra Field.
It took Feng Zheng nearly half an hour to sense his Chakra Field.
Yamanaka Shin's explanations were very helpful.
Afterward, Yamanaka Shin tested Feng Zheng's Chakra Field.
After a series of tests, he concluded that Feng Zheng's Chakra Field had a radius of 7.3 meters.
Yamanaka Shin commented, "7.3 meters, not bad. The Chakra Field of an average Ninja is 4 to 5 meters. In my Yamanaka Clan, if a young person's Chakra Field exceeds 7 meters, we train them to become Sensor Ninja."
"As for other Konoha Ninja, the minimum requirement is 5.9 meters, but this is just the bare minimum. Many in the Yamanaka Clan have Chakra Fields exceeding 10 meters before they even begin training to become Sensor Ninja."
He paused, looked at Feng Zheng, and continued, "To become a Sensor Ninja, you need to do a lot of hard training, so are you sure you still want to train to become a Sensor Ninja?"
Feng Zheng quickly absorbed all the information and nodded.
Yamanaka Shin said, "Alright, then I will teach you. However, the process of training to become a Sensor Ninja is quite complex. We need suitable Training Grounds. I will take you to where Konoha Sensor Ninja train. Starting tomorrow, go there every day at 10:30 AM."
Genshu nodded to his former classmate in thanks. He looked at Feng Zheng and instructed, "Hokage-sama will have the Sealing Jutsu you requested ready tomorrow. Report to his office at 6 PM tomorrow."
Feng Zheng nodded and said, "Thank you, Sensei."
Afterward, he accompanied Yamanaka Shin to the Training Grounds.
The location was slightly away from the residential area. It was situated in the middle of Konoha's many small forests.
Feng Zheng memorized the training location, then bid farewell and left.

The next day at 10:28 AM, Feng Zheng arrived at the Training Grounds.
He saw that Yamanaka Shin was already there.
Upon arriving, Feng Zheng saw many rooms in the facility.
Most of the facility was empty; there were actually very few people there.
However, Feng Zheng noticed that quite a few rooms were occupied. Yamanaka Shin said, "These rooms isolate everything from the outside. And there are Sealing Jutsu that eliminate all sound and smell inside the rooms. So you must rely entirely on your sensory abilities."
Feng Zheng listened carefully as Yamanaka Shin explained. He thought, "I see, this must be where most of Konoha's Sensor Ninja train. Perhaps other students are occupying the other rooms."
Feng Zheng couldn't quite remember, but he thought Konoha Village must also have such a place to help monitor the Village's borders, to look for invaders or similar things, although this place only appeared in 'Shippuden' and not in Part 1.
Feng Zheng was very curious if this place was also here, or somewhere else?
Yamanaka Shin led Feng Zheng to one of the rooms.
The room was dark. All the walls were painted black. The room was also very large.
After Yamanaka Shin entered, he explained to Feng Zheng how to train sensory abilities relying solely on Chakra. He said, "You will be blindfolded in here, and after the Sealing Jutsu is activated, all sound and smell in the room will be removed. Afterward, some items will be placed in the room. These items have a small amount of Chakra sealed within them for Sensor Ninja to detect."

He also said a few words of encouragement to Feng Zheng, telling him not to be too upset, as these things couldn't be sensed in just a day or two.
He also gave Feng Zheng a small cube-like object. He said, "This is one of the objects I want you to sense. You can temporarily borrow this to practice at home. Although it can't block your sense of smell and sound, it shouldn't matter. Since you're not good at those, try having someone else place the cube somewhere in the room after you put on a blindfold and sit in a Meditation posture. This way, you won't know the exact location of the cube beforehand, but don't practice for too long."
Feng Zheng understood Yamanaka Shin's words and nodded. Then he thanked Yamanaka Shin and went home.
Without school, he now had an extra 7 hours a day for training.
Training at the sensory facility, travel, and lunch took less than 3 hours.
Feng Zheng temporarily dedicated the remaining four hours entirely to Chakra sensing training.
In the Hokage Office, Hiruzen looked at the custom Sealing Jutsu on his desk. He sighed softly and thought, "Konoha's advantage in Sealing Technique is rapidly fading. With the demise of the Uzumaki Clan and Minato's death, our progress in Sealing Technique has almost stagnated. Uzumaki Kushina and Minato had just begun to make progress but died too early. Now, customizing such a simple Sealing Jutsu for Feng Zheng takes almost two full days."
"However, this request is still quite surprising. Genshu did say this child was diligent, but it's very rare for someone so young to want such a Sealing Jutsu."
"Usually, only a few clan geniuses train this way. But even they, in most cases, start training at a later age."
Hiruzen remembered that he had glanced at Genshu before asking for the reward.
He guessed that Genshu must have given Feng Zheng this idea.
Hiruzen thought he should have a good talk with Feng Zheng when he visited in a few hours.
At 6 PM, Feng Zheng arrived at the Hokage Office, knocked, and entered.
He bowed slightly, respectfully greeting, "Good evening, Hokage-sama."
Hiruzen was very impressed by this; he thought, "At least his manners are very polite."
He said, "Raise your head. This is the Sealing Jutsu you requested. This Sealing Jutsu is a special Sealing Jutsu designed by our Village. It incorporates features of some basic Sealing Jutsu to create a perfect tool to help our Ninja train their bodies. You can freely control the amount of pressure the Sealing Jutsu applies to your body, and this pressure will act on your entire body."
Feng Zheng nodded and said, "Thank you, Hokage-sama."
