Although he had contracted with the Golem Doll, Wu Wei couldn’t be considered a Stage 1 Runic Summoner yet. At most, he could only be considered a Semi-Stage-1 Runic Summoner.
He first needed to raise his level to level 11 before becoming a full-fledged Stage 1 Summoner.
However, Wu Wei wasn’t in a hurry to reach level 11. Right now, he was more focused on his second Core Rune.

Wu Wei watched as the progress bar seemed to be filling up quickly!
Five minutes later, the bar had been filled up, and another line of words appeared in front of Wu Wei.

Although there were only minuscule results at his current level of physical strength training, Wu Wei still worked hard at it. He would practice until he ran out of strength, read some books, and then repeat the cycle.
Three days of hard work did show its results. Initially, Wu Wei could only make 152 consecutive slashes, but now, he could make 168.
He had improved by 14 slashes.
More importantly, when Wu Wei had five thousand slashes on the third day, he suddenly felt like he had grasped something.
And when he checked, his status window confirmed he had mastered and made the skill his own!
Besides gaining a skill, Wu Wei also reaped huge rewards from reading.

He discovered that when Runemasters upgraded their rune quality, they often needed some kind of catalyst – something with the same attributes as the rune being upgraded or something closely tied to it.
“Maybe to get a clue about Golem Doll’s fourth condition… I’ll need to pay his relatives a visit?”
“Mm… I remember that 15 miles north of Maple Leaf Town, there’s a cave nestling with Golems. I think I’ll have to try my luck there if the fourth condition doesn’t reveal itself soon.”
