The full title of the book is “Diamond Prajna-Paramita Sutra.” What is Diamond in this text refer to? “Diamond:” (or Jin-gang/Gold-firm) Jin/Gold is the hardest element (among five elements), and Gang/Firm is firmly holding holding onto righteousness. Often by theories, “Diamond/Jingang” is used as a metaphor for weapon or stone, because it’s strong, sharp, and can destroy everything without taking any damage. “Prajna” refer to wisdom and enlightenment.
