This makes it an excellent defensive plant. Even the Ancient Elves use these Thorns in many places.”
“Is it really that powerful?” Bewitching Queen questioned in disbelief. She couldn’t believe the system would grant players such overpowered items at this stage.
Li Yao reiterated, “Yes, indeed. However, in order to cultivate these Thorns, one requires a Druid to cast a spell; the stronger the Druid, the stronger the Thorn. The Druids we can find at present are of a low level, resulting in our Thorns being vastly inferior to those used by the Ancient Elves.”

“Just keep them safe. These Thorns, if grown under a Druid’s spell, can extend robustly. A single seed is enough for an entire stretch of wall, so we can use these for a long time.”
Although nothing groundbreaking was revealed, Li Yao felt very content since the foundation of a guild is accumulated gradually. These Thorns can not only prevent thieves from infiltrating, but can also play a crucial role during both offensive and defensive battles.

“Your Grace.” Li Yao saw the Queen feeding an elegant Chocobo when he arrived.
Chocobos are the racial mounts of High Elves, looking into her eyes, Li Yao could tell the Queen was reminiscing about old times.
“You’re here.” The Queen nodded and said, “You did a commendable job on this task, and didn’t let me down.”
“It’s all thanks to the Queen’s teaching.” Li Yao said humbly.
“Spare me the flattery, I don’t fall for that.” The Queen glanced at Li Yao and said, “But this time you did make us proud again, those guys from the Light Faction can’t keep their faces straight.”
“It’s not that I’m too strong, but they are just too weak.” Li Yao didn’t show any traces of delight in his accomplishment.
“Given your current power, this performance is not too bad. No need to downplay it.” The Queen pointed at a couple of mounts and said, “The Chieftain specially rewarded you with an exceptional-grade mount. Each race has some, pick one.”
Li Yao was thrilled. At level twenty, players could only purchase common mounts. Only after completing certain tasks could they obtain superior-grade mounts. Of course, as a Beast King, he can breed one himself, but it requires a lot of energy and time.
Just like equipment, mounts are categorized as Common, Superior, Exceptional, Epic…
Common mounts generally increase movement speed by 30%, superior mounts by 40% and come with an additional attribute, and exceptional mounts increase speed by 60% and provide two additional attributes.
