Five fireballs were launched. But when the fireballs were about to hit the Exploding Sheep, they suddenly veered off their straight course, dodging the flaming projectiles and continuing towards Illusion God.
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom…the five fireballs landed harmlessly on the ground, leaving behind five charred zones in their wake.
“Micro-control…” Illusion God’s eyes narrowed. Unlike the era dominated by keyboard and mouse controls, controlling pets through cognitive splitting was now categorized as a form of micro-management.
In the past, fast hands were essential for micro-management. But in the present day, strong spiritual power was required instead. Most players could control their pets while remaining motionless.

As Li Yao spoke, he promptly plopped one Exploding Sheep after another onto the ground, from his position in the corner of the arena.
Meanwhile, the original five Exploding Sheep had already closed within twenty yards of Illusion God.

Though Illusion God was aware of Li Yao’s strong spiritual power, he was determined to not lose due to his own pride. As Li Yao stated, he had little choice in this matter.
If he didn’t respond with his own micro-control, his Elite Undead Skeletons, who merely followed their instincts, would not stand a chance against Li Yao.
With the large number of Exploding Sheep on Li Yao’s side, the battle was draining for him.
He seized control of his five Remote Flame Skeletons, casting the Fireball Technique directly.
This time, Illusion God played a little trick and was able to annihilate one of Li Yao’s Exploding Sheep.
The remaining four Exploding Sheep struck the Iron Stone Demon, inflicting three to four hundred points of damage. But this level of damage was a mere scratch to a Stone Demon summoned with a Purple Weapon.
The last two sheep exploded upon two Melee Skeletons, dealing 1100 to 1200 damage to each. This was only one third of an Elite Skeleton’s HP.
“Insignificant,” Illusion God continued to approach Li Yao, carefully adjusting his movements to refrain from presenting Li Yao with a chance to attack. He had already experienced first-hand Li Yao’s ultra-long-range shooting and unpredictable ricochet skills, so he remained on high alert.
“Really? How about this then,” Li Yao continued to release Exploding Sheep as he spoke. Simultaneously, five more skeletons charged from either side towards the oncoming skeleton enemies.
“Ten, huh? It will be tough, but not impossible,” Illusion God responded with a smirk. Ten Remote Flame Skeletons simultaneously brought their hands together in a prayer gesture, clearly indicating that he had taken control of ten skeletons at once.
The audience in the spectator stands were stunned to see both players able to control five summoned creatures simultaneously without hindering their own actions.
Seeing both players controlling ten creatures simultaneously left the audience astonished. As all the spectators were pros themselves, they fully understood the significance of such a feat. Immediately, the arena erupted with cheers.
“No wonder he is Illusion God, his spiritual power is so strong. It’s no wonder I always lose to him,” said Unparalleled Enchantress with a frown.
“Has big brother met his match?” asked Adorable Tonton uneasily.
“This round might be tough. The conditions for the chairman to summon creatures are too stringent. While it’s fine against normal players, against a powerful opponent like this, I doubt they will give him such an opportunity,” Sister Li said with a sigh.
“I don’t know what other tricks he has up his sleeve, but I know him too well. Just by looking at his expressions, I can tell he is far from using his full strength,” whispered Feng Yi quietly.
“What, not using his full strength even when fighting against Illusion God?” Guardian Angel exclaimed in surprise.
The others also displayed their disbelief.

However, at the moment, Li Yao was still calm, continuously placing one Self-defense Sheep after another onto the ground. The newly released Exploding Sheep also joined the “S” formation.
