Chapter 327: Chapter 327: Difficult to Deal With
Li Yao waited for a good while, constantly probing the surroundings with his Sonar Arrows, until he was sure that the Advanced Moon Guard had entirely left.

Those less confident usually formed small teams of two or three to search for intruders in the fog.
Li Yao arrived at the lakeside, having managed to avoid five or six patrol teams. Li Yao’s principle was to avoid unnecessary killings.
Upon reaching the lake, Li Yao took out a stand, hung a bottle on it, and extended it into the lake water.
As the stand’s light twinkled, a light blue liquid slowly flowed into the bottle.
The bottle was a small piece of Spatial Equipment that could hold a lot of liquid. Thanks to the array on the stand, it could extract the essence from the lake water, ensuring that only the best water was taken back.
Li Yao held the Long Bow and frowned at the scene. This fluctuation was likely to attract nearby guards. Seeing the liquid flowing slowly into the bottle, Li Yao frowned slightly. It seemed that filling this bottle would take quite a bit of time.
“I can’t avoid killing, after all.”

“Haha, you’re acting like this ghostly trial is a big deal. No one would want to patrol this foggy place unless it was for the merit points for the temple and a 20% experience bonus for staying up all night,” Yesterday laughed and explained.
“Exactly! I have no idea how they monitor things, several unlucky drops who tried to slack off ended up getting their elite profession qualifications stripped. Well deserved!” Tomorrow seemed to be finding pleasure in their misfortune.
“Temple quest is definitely stricter, but the benefits and compensation are better than ordinary elite professions. Not to mention, the 20% experience boost is equivalent to continuous leveling throughout the night. Boredom is the least of my worries,” Yesterday sighed, “As for the trial task, it’s too hard to encounter considering how many players are patrolling, let’s just leave it to fate.”
“That’s not right, there’s something wrong with the Moon Power fluctuation ahead,” Today suddenly announced.
“Then we’ll go…” Yesterday also noticed the surge of Moon Power but before he could finish his sentence, a faint blue arrow had already plunged into his chest like a flash of lightning.

Under the astonished eyes of Today and Tomorrow, Yesterday’s life bar dropped to zero. His soul turned into white light and vanished, directly returning him to the Desolate Graveyard on the outskirts of the city.
“Blink!” The Arcane Mage’s form blurred as he kept Blinking from one spot to another, making it seem like he was constantly teleporting.

“Keep Blinks uptime, his attacks are too brutal.” As Today said this, streaks of Moonlight fell over her head while she weaved in an S-pattern around the battlefield. Her health quickly started to recover.
“Damn it, is this even human? I can’t see anything in this cursed fog! How can he?” Tomorrow was cursing to himself. If it wasn’t for his Blink ability, he reckoned he’d be the next target. Without the Moon Shadow’s damage reduction, he was sure he’d be instantaneously killed.
Moon’s Guidance!
Li Yao was covered with a gentle light, Li Yao paused, “Priest of the Dark Moon.”
The Priest of the Dark Moon was a branch of the priests of the moon, somewhat like an upgraded version of the shadow priest. They controlled very aggressive and invasive Moon Power. Some priests believed that the power of the Priest of the Dark Moon actually came from the Blue Child.
The Priest of the Dark Moon attacked in strange ways, especially with the Moon’s Guidance, which was like a Hunter’s Mark of Death, preventing rogues from going stealth.
Of course, the Moon’s Guidance was much stronger, turning the target into a beacon of light. Many teams would mark players affected by Moon’s Guidance as the main target.
Moon Fire!
A blue orb rushed towards Li Yao. Because of Moon’s Guidance, the Moon Fire could automatically track its target.
Li Yao had no intention to dodge. He knew that with Moon’s Guidance locking onto him, he wouldn’t be able to dodge the subsequent spells. Dodging now would only make him fall into the enemy’s rhythm. He mustn’t forget that there was a kiting Arcane Mage in the enemy’s ranks – an encounter with them would undoubtedly be thunderous.
With a small body like his, enduring an elite Arcane Mage’s attack would surely lead to instant death.
Right at the moment the Moon Fire was about to hit him, Li Yao quickly deployed his Repair Robot.

The Repair Robot exploded into fragments the moment it was summoned, getting hit by the Moon Fire. Li Yao, on the other hand, was now protected by a Holy Shield.

A wave of Arcane Missiles hit Li Yao. The moment his Holy Shield shattered, Li Yao activated Shadow Escape.
Shadow Escape was an excellent ability to break free, it could disengage from combat, remove any marks, and had a brief period of invulnerability while going invisible.
For instance, the Arcane Missiles from before. The Holy Shield was unable to negate them, if Li Yao were hit, he would’ve met his instant death or at the very least, been severely weakened. But because of the invincibility during Shadow Escape, he was able to fend off the damage.
Shadow Escape blocking abilities was a technique that Ancient Elves had to master in the mid-game. It could be a life-saver at critical moments.
“He should be dead after that combo.”
Listening to their synchronized attack sounds, they were certain that all of their skills hit. Tomorrow breathed a sigh of relief.
“Let’s go and see.” The two of them were already quite close to Li Yao’s location, and in a moment, they could see the situation by the lake.
“Huh, where’s the corpse?” Tomorrow suddenly changed his expression, “Be careful!”
But it was already too late. They were barely ten yards away from Li Yao, and right when Tomorrow was about to Blink, a Steel Arrow pierced his chest.
