Broken was still being carried by Knight Lionell through the hallway, aware of the many servants and guards casting glances his way. He quickly removed the Invincible Paragon set he was wearing, instantly feeling a relief in his Weight Capacity.
“Sir Lionell, please, I’m fine, I’m okay,” he said, catching the attention of both Alora and Lionell.
“Are you sure, Baron Broken?” Lionell asked.
“Yes, please.”
Lionell gently set Broken down, watching to see if he could stand on his own. Broken smiled, trying to show he was indeed alright. “I’m okay.”
“It’s not because you’re embarrassed, right?” Alora asked with a slight smile.
“Yes, I’m okay,” he replied awkwardly.
“Okay then, please follow me.”
Broken then walked beside Princess Alora, glancing at the equipment descriptions as he analyzed them while they continued towards their destination.

These gloves can help increase the chances of dealing a counterattack with 100% damage when the user parries an attack from an opponent. This may not be a practical skill since parrying during a battle requires some talent and practice. Nevertheless, the potential for a counterattack with full damage is still considerable.
Normally, when parrying, there are several factors to consider. For instance, the damage might be partially blocked, but some could still get through, or the impact of the parry might depend on the strength of the received damage. However, with this skill, he has a 20% chance to counterattack the damage. That’s remarkable, especially since there is no cooldown for its use. Even though parrying isn’t something that needs to be done repeatedly, the chances are still quite high.
Furthermore, the possibility of five consecutive attacks with a 5% chance of activation must not be underestimated. While the probability of it occurring is relatively low, if it were to take place, the resulting damage would be tremendous. It’s a passive skill, and its effect will be especially impressive when triggered during another offensive attack skill. Five successive attacks are insane! And a 5% chance with just a 5-second cooldown? Does this skill seem overpowered for Epic-grade gloves?

There’s a 20% chance to reduce a critical hit as well, a passive ability that would boost his confidence in battle the more passive abilities he possessed.
What’s more, there was a skill that could reduce Mana usage-ordinarily really useful for a Mage. But with his low Intelligence stat, he believed it would still be beneficial for him. He concluded his inspection with these thoughts.

Broken finally had a consistent option for the Dash skill, which he previously relied on from other shoes he had acquired when facing player killers. Now, he didn’t need to switch shoes whenever he needed to increase his speed.

He carefully examined his Chest Armor, absorbing the information about its skills. Taking a deep breath, he couldn’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed. The protection this chest armor offered was incredible, featuring three protection skills.
The first skill, Invincible Shields, provided twelve layers of immunity to damage. This was incredibly powerful, especially against a single enemy. While it might run out quickly in battles against multiple opponents, twelve layers were still significant.
The second skill, Invincible Force Reflection, was excellent for facing large numbers of
enemies. When used at the right moment, it could reflect the damage he received back to his attackers. It reminded him of the effect in the Black Panther outfit from the movie. Wasn’t
that similar?
He paused for a moment, thinking. The first and second skills had superior functions in different situations. Even so, both skills were still amazing.
The third skill, Earth Skin, was indeed incredible. It reduced physical damage by thirty percent. Truly remarkable for something of a Unique grade!
Broken inhaled deeply, feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information. “Thankfully,” he muttered quietly, “most of these skills are passive, so I don’t have to rush to
become accustomed to them all.”

Broken carefully examined the Legs’ Armor, feeling pleased with its utility.
The armor would definitely boost his Health and Stamina regeneration. This would be
especially useful during crafting sessions, as it would extend his capacity to work without needing frequent breaks. Now, he could work while wearing armor.
The next skill provided a 30% chance to block ignore-defense skills. This would be very effective against players like Melliandra, who possessed a lot of those types of skills. Moreover, an earth elemental shield with 30% of his total health was an exceptional skill. It
greatly increased his odds of surviving in battle.
The last skill automatically adjusted the color of the armor. While it might seem trivial, it really enhanced the look of the armor he was wearing. This skill explained why the armor
showed a blue pattern when he wore it. So, this armor might change color if used by someone else, like Princess Alora.
As the door opened in front of them, a room of grandeur and beauty was revealed. The walls
were adorned with intricate paintings. A circular table in the center of the room gleamed gold, and the chairs were ornately carved with elaborate designs. Princess Alora stood with a smile, gesturing for Broken to come inside. Once the door closed
behind them, Princess Alora leaned in slightly and whispered, “It looks like you’re in
trouble.”
“What?” Broken, caught off guard by her words.
“You’ve been so quiet as if you were thinking about something. Are you in trouble? Has
Elincia told you anything about the Demon attack?” she asked. “Don’t worry, we’re now in my private chamber. You can share any secret information without fear of being spied on.” Broken was too confused to respond immediately; he had been preoccupied with reading the details about his new armor. And Princess Alora seemed to misunderstand.
“No… I’m okay, I’m not in trouble,” he said with a slight grin.
“Is it possible that Lord Broken is worried that we’ll take his newly crafted gear?” Lionell
added.
Alora chuckled at Lionell’s comment. “Don’t worry, I won’t do that.”
