The moment Aether snapped his fingers, a crackling purple spark shot upwards, tearing through the cloudy sky.
The storm surged with violent intensity, the clouds spiralling faster and faster as purple lightning danced erratically, streaking across the heavens.

The thunderstruck directly at the Kraken, its massive form recoiling, shuddering under the heat of the blast. The creature seemed to shrink, as though the immense power of the lightning had almost vaporized it.
But the Kraken wasn’t done yet. With a screech, its tentacles absorbed the surrounding ocean water, expanding back into their monstrous size.
“KKKKKAAARRGGHHHHHHHH!!!”
The Kraken’s fury exploded as its massive tentacles slammed into the ocean in rapid succession, sending waves crashing upward.

Each impact left massive craters in the water, sending plumes of seawater shooting into the air. The sheer power of its thrashing sent shockwaves through the ocean, nearly knocking Aether off balance.
The Kraken’s tentacles surged forward in a synchronized assault.

Aether vanished in a flash, disappearing from sight just as the tentacles slammed into the spot where he had been standing, sending water spraying in all directions.

The force of the impact split the waves, creating a trench in the ocean floor that revealed the seabed for a split second. Before the Kraken could react, Aether reappeared high above the creature’s massive form, suspended in midair. His expression was one of shock.
“That would’ve definitely fucked me up,”
The Kraken screamed again, twisting its gargantuan body upward. Its tentacles lashed out toward Aether with terrifying speed.

Purple flames erupted from his palm, engulfing one of the Kraken’s tentacles. The flame consumed the limb, turning it into pure smoke, the fire vaporizing it as if it were nothing more than mist.
“KKKKKKKRRRRRRRAAAAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHH!!!”
The Kraken let out a howling scream of pain and rage as it sent every remaining tentacle shooting at Aether from different directions.
Aether’s eyes darted from side to side, calculating. He could see the tentacles coming at him, their tips aiming to pierce him. Just as they were about to strike—
“HHHIIIIIISSSSSSSSSS~~~~~~!!!!!!”
A massive white serpent’s jaws suddenly appeared, shooting up from the ocean. With terrifying speed, it bit down on the Kraken’s tentacles, severing them in an instant.
The Kraken froze, its monstrous body recoiling in shock. It had never sensed another creature like this, one so massive and powerful. Before it could fully process what was happening, a flash of purple lightning struck down from the sky.
THUUNNNNDDDDEEERRRRRRR!!
The bolt hit the Kraken again, causing its body to shrink once more, the creature howling in pain.
“KKKKKAAARRGGHHHHHHHH!!!”
Seizing the opportunity, Aether leapt onto one of the Kraken’s remaining tentacles, weaving through its writhing limbs with unmatched agility.
The Kraken thrashed violently, attempting to regain its former size as its tentacles whipped through the air.
WHOOOM! SWISH! WHAAMMM!!!
Aether noticed the Kraken drawing water into itself as if it were recharging, refueling its form. The monstrous creature was regaining its strength at an alarming rate.
Aether narrowed his eyes, ‘He has to be hiding inside this thing,’ he thought, ‘Mortimer’s gotta be in here…’
According to most of the bullshit he read, Mortimer was most likely to be inside the monster….. As he closed in, trying to find any sign of Mortimer’s presence within the Kraken, the monster shifted its tactics.
Water surged upward in massive columns, twisting into whirlpools, each one more powerful than the last. The spiralling torrents sought to trap Aether, the sheer force threatening to crush him from every direction.
“Tsk, SNOW!!!” Aether shouted, frustration in his voice.
In response, a massive white serpent sliced through the whirlpools, its movements crackling with precision as it scooped Aether up, whisking him away in the nick of time.
SSHHHRRAAASSSHHHHHH!!!
The Kraken let out a furious growl, but it had enough time to grow even larger, its tentacles crackling with bluish-white energy. The creature’s hollow, sparkling eyes locked onto the white serpent now circling above it, a small human figure standing atop its head.
Aether folded his arms, staring at the Kraken with a smirk. “Actually, it’s cute,” he mused. He couldn’t believe his eyes— When Kraken was reduced to a small size, far from the terrifying beast he’d expected. It wasn’t even screaming.
‘Maybe I could pet this thing?’ he thought playfully.
“Hiss?” Snowflake, who had been glaring at the Kraken, was taken aback. She couldn’t believe Aether found something so disgusting… cute?
“Cuterrrr than meeeee~?” she asked, her voice dripping with offence, her slitted eyes narrowing in pure jealousy.
Aether chuckled, sensing her jealousy, “Of course not. You’re the cutest in the world—” He cut himself off suddenly, “Fuck, dodge that!”
Before he could react, a bluish-white bolt of energy shot from the Kraken’s mouth, streaking through the air toward them.
Snowflake didn’t flinch just tilted her head and narrowly missing them both.
They turned back with mild curiosity as they watched the shot miss, striking the water where it instantly froze into jagged, sparkling ice.
“Interesting…” Aether nodded, Snowflake too nodded as if she too find it interesting but when they turned to face the Kraken, they were met with… nothing. It had vanished.
“….It can really pull off a trick like that… ah,” Aether muttered, a slow smile creeping onto his face.
He looked up just in time to see the Kraken plummeting from the sky, its massive body descending like a force of nature. The ocean around it stirred violently, its tentacles reaching out like giant, deadly whips and in the middle there was….
“Holy Moly… that hole’s bigger than…” Aether’s words faltered as he noticed the swirling vortex of sharp teeth around the Kraken’s massive gaping mouth—like a grinding machine ready to tear through anything in its path.
“That’s…. going to hurt…” Aether muttered with a painful expression.
BOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
The impact was catastrophic. The ocean trembled as the Kraken landed with a deafening crash. Its massive form slammed into the water with the force of a tidal wave, and before they could react, its colossal tentacles shot toward Snowflake
“HIIIIISSSSSS!!” Snowflake gasped, her body flailing as the Kraken’s tentacles coiled around her like constricting ropes. They twisted her in midair, pulling her helplessly like a ragdoll.
Snowflake fought back fiercely, thrashing as she bit into one of the tentacles.

Just about to move, when,
A blast of icy energy shot from the Kraken’s gaping mouth, turning Snowflake’s skin into a frozen sculpture. The cold spread rapidly across her body, freezing her in place as the Kraken moved its mouth, painting her pale white body with freezing ice.
“HIIIIIIISSSSSS!!!”
Snowflake slithered in pain, as if an icy thunderclap was peeling off her skin in agonizing waves!
Desperately, she whipped her tail at the Kraken’s face, using the last of her strength. The Kraken’s mouth twisted in reaction, and its aim shifted away.
Seizing the moment, Snowflake slithered into the tentacles, bit off the remaining one, and tried to escape… or so she thought, until a few more tentacles appeared out of nowhere, grabbing her tail with deadly force.
“HIIIISSSSSSSSSS!!!!” Snowflake hissed in fury as she unleashed a jet of acid from her mouth, spraying it directly at the Kraken’s body. But the water absorbed the acid, diluting it before it could cause any damage.
“Harrrhharrr…” The Kraken chuckled darkly, which made veins pop on Snowflake’s forehead, her frustration growing by the second.
Just as the Kraken opened its monstrous mouth again, preparing to unleash another barrage of icy sparks…

A strange, deep bubbling sound came from within the Kraken’s core, causing it to momentarily freeze. The creature frowned and looked down at its own body…. To its horror, a deep purple glow began to pulse through its form.
And then,
“KKKKKKKKKKAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!” The Kraken screamed in agony, the sound deafening as its insides seemed to burn with unimaginable heat. It released its hold on Snowflake, who wasted no time slithering away from the danger.
The Kraken trembled violently, its body shaking as thick, hot smoke billowed from its pores. Its purple glow intensified, becoming brighter and brighter like a time bomb set to explode at any moment and,
SPLASSSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!
The Kraken exploded into pieces—well, water drops, or whatever it was now!
“Sigh… He’s not inside,” Aether muttered, his voice tinged with disappointment, his body drenched but still hovering above the water. He floated toward Snowflake, landing lightly on her head. With a flick of his foot, purple flames burst forth, sweeping over her frozen form. The flames crackled and hissed as they burned away the icy remnants, leaving her skin warm and restored.
“Sigh…” Snowflake exhaled deeply, relief washing over her as the ice melted away from her body.
Meanwhile, Aether frowned, his thoughts racing. He couldn’t find Mortimer inside the Kraken either…
“Did he really run awa–“
Before he could finish his sentence…
“Who are you calling a coward?!” A voice erupted everywhere but this time, the voice was unmistakable—Mortimer’s voice.
Aether looked up, noticing the spot where the Kraken had been destroyed. The water had begun to spiral violently as the Kraken emerged once again.
It was the same Kraken as before however they were slightly emotional showing as if it was finally under control or something.
And just as Aether thought, this time, instead of screeching, it spoke in a cold, menacing voice,
“You cannot kill me, slave. The Ocean is my power.
No matter how powerful you are, I will regenerate infinitely…
Here, I.AM.THE.KING!!!”
The Kraken’s massive tentacles slammed into the ocean with tremendous force, causing an enormous wave to rise up!
