“W-We need to heal you!” Aether shouted, his voice tinged with urgency as he reached for his healing potion. However, Aria smiled softly and took a small bottle from her pouch.
Aether flinched, staring at the small bottle in her hand.
‘T-That’s a healing potion…’ he realized. He then looked at Aria, who awkwardly averted her gaze, her cheeks tinged with embarrassment, “I-I just realized I had this in my pouch!” she stammered, offering a lame excuse that even a child wouldn’t believe.
Aether sighed deeply and said, “Drink it fir—” but before he could finish his sentence, Aria had already poured the potion into his mouth, ensuring he drank it first.
“Slowly, slowly…” she whispered, her voice tender as she rubbed Aether’s throat, her eyes filled with affectionate care, like a mother tending to her child.
After gulping down the potion, Aether felt his wounds close up rapidly, the healing magic working its wonders. Aria watched with relief flooding her heart, seeing the immediate effect.

She then took another healing potion from her pouch and drank it, watching as the wounds on her body closed and healed.

Seeing this, Aether understood her concern, but he couldn’t bear to let Aria lose after seeing her worried expression. He gently closed her fingers around the flag and said, “I cannot…”
