‘Bang!’
A vision of two headless bodies suddenly appeared, vivid and horrifying.
The vision then moved forward, hands trembling with a mix of fear and dread. Just as the hands were about to touch the headless bodies…
“Arrhh!!” Aether abruptly woke up from the nightmare, his breath coming in heavy, panicked gasps, his eyes darting frantically from side to side as if still searching for the horrors from his dream.
“Another nightmare?” Taylor, who was lying comfortably on the top bunk of the bed, couldn’t help but ask. It was the third time that single night Aether had woken up in such a state.
“S-Sorry…” Aether responded, his voice laden with exhaustion, his face showing the toll of sleepless nights.
Taylor sighed deeply, jumped down from her bunk, and sat beside him on his bed, looking at him with a concern, “Is something bothering you?” she asked, even though she had a pretty good idea of what was troubling him.

Aether shook his head slowly, attempting to dismiss her concern, “I’m fine–” he started to say, but before he could finish,
“Just tell me,” Taylor insisted, nudging her glasses up her nose with a stern expression that showed she wouldn’t be easily swayed.
Aether stared at her face for a long moment before sighing deeply, “I… I don’t know… I… I’m just so worried that I might lose those close to me… again.”
Taylor’s stern expression slowly softened into one of empathy. She said gently, “Lie down.”
“Hmm?”
“Just lie down”
Aether lay back down on the bed, feeling the mattress creak under his weight. Taylor placed her hand gently on his chest and began to hum softly,
“~Hmmm~Hmmm~Hmhhmmhaaa~~AaaaahhhAAA~aaahh~”
Aether’s eyes widened in awe as he listened to the melodious sounds emanating from her. Her voice was so soothing and enchanting that he felt as if he might drift off to sleep… Eternally.
Seeing his shocked expression, Taylor was amused and said, “Just close your eyes.”
Aether shook his head, unwilling to miss the melody, ‘D-Don’t tell me…. Could it really be her?’ he wondered, his mind entertained some unwanted thoughts.
If he could transmigrate….. then there was a possibility, right?
It might be her.
Aether gulped, feeling a mix of anticipation and hesitation. He mumbled softly, “… T-This night is sparkling, don’t you let it go…..” as he waited for her to continue remaining,
Taylor looked at him weirdly, not understanding, ‘What is he talking about?’ she thought. She glanced at the window, seeing nothing sparkling outside. She turned back to him with a pitiful gaze, thinking, ‘He might have hit his head somewhere… poor thing.’
Aether’s lips twitched as he noticed her expression. Just as he was about to say something more, she interrupted,
“I said close your eyes.”
Aether nodded obediently and closed his eyes, listening to her soul-soothing melody as he slowly drifted into sweet, peaceful dreams.
“~aahh~mmmHHH~Llaaaaa~llaaa~a~a~a~a~a~a~hmmm~~~~~”
Seeing him breathe calmly, Taylor stopped singing and stared at his peaceful, smiling face. He looked so content. She was about to move away, but Aether held her hand tightly, as if he didn’t want her to let go, a slight frown forming on his face even in sleep.
“Sigh, it’s like I’m taking care of a child…” she mumbled to herself before lying down beside him on his bed. Since the bed was small, she ended up quite close to him. She stared at his happy, relaxed face, sighed, and blushed slightly before turning her head away.
‘Come on! I shouldn’t feel anything; it will make it hard to kill him if the Empress orders me! I am just a tool….. Don’t forget your place! Damn It!!’ Taylor thought to herself, her mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions, before finally closing her eyes.
The Next Morning,

“~Mmm~”

“….” Aether’s ears twitched as seductive sounds trickled into them. Slowly, he fluttered his eyes open, still in a half-awake state, ‘W-What’s with that sound?’ he wondered groggily.
He subconsciously sucked on something, ‘Slurp~’
“~Mmmmhh~”
His eyes suddenly snapped wide open when he heard that moaning sound. He looked down at his mouth, only to find himself in a horrifying yet tantalizing situation… He was sucking on Taylor’s left breast through her clothing.
The fabric of her nightdress was damp from his drool, clinging to the curve of her breast, revealing the outline of her nipple.
‘Gulp’
Aether gulped in terror, realizing he was tightly hugging her body, his face buried in her chest, his lips wrapped around her nipple, ‘I-I don’t think I had this kind of problem before…’ he thought, and his mouth unconsciously moved closer to her breast again, savouring the warmth and softness through the fabric.
Even more alarming, he could see a small, hard protruding point pressing against the wet cloth.

He remembered what happened the previous night and sighed, a smile creeping onto his face. He was truly grateful for her calming presence, feeling refreshed, his mind calm as river and ready to face any challenge….. Her gentle touch and soothing melody had been a balm to his troubled mind.
There was no point in moping about the past. Those two were fine now, so dwelling on it was useless. From here on, he needed to be more careful about his surroundings… He didn’t want to owe his Log anymore.
A dangerous glint passed through his eyes. He was definitely going to make those who almost killed his friends pay.

He knew Taylor wasn’t the kind of girl who would sneak into another man’s bed. He had seen her shy expression many times, even during their dance, where she was hesitant to make close contact. There must be some reason for her lying in his bed.
