Chapter 8 8. The Bloody Tsar
Dacus put on an extremely exaggerated aristocratic etiquette and said to the woman in the Imperial language: "Hello, beautiful old lady, do you need our help?"
The woman's eyes widened and she opened her mouth to speak, but she was afraid of the crossbow next to her, so she stopped herself from speaking.
Ryan and Edmund also rushed over when they heard the gunshots.
Then Dacus said, "Nothing. Where are you going?"
The woman suddenly burst into tears and said, "I am going to Musilon. My father is seriously ill and I want to go back to see him for the last time." After she said that, she wiped her tears with her hands.
Dacus shouted bluntly, "Why is a centenarian woman acting like a virgin?"
This shout startled Druzy next to him. Ryan and Dastan Lengyan burst into laughter, while Edmund and the Dark Ark pirates next to them looked confused.
Dacius continued, "Why didn't you tell me you were going to Silver Spire? Do you believe I could nail you into an iron coffin, tie an anchor to it, and sink you into the sea?"
The woman was completely panicked. She couldn't even hold the sword firmly and fell to the ground, collapsing in the ground.
Dacus continued, "Let me guess. Are you running away?"
The woman quickly adjusted herself and stood up again, saying calmly, "Yes, the Lahmian Sisters reported me."
Darkus laughed, then spoke to Ryan and Dastan Coldeye in Druzic, "She's a vampire lurking in the human world. She used to be a member of the Lamia Sisterhood. Now, her sisters have reported her to the authorities, and her identity has been exposed, so she's on the run."
After listening to this, Ryan and Dastan Lengyan looked at each other, and then Ryan said jokingly: "Why does this routine sound so familiar to me?"
The group of Druzis burst into laughter, and the cabin was filled with a happy atmosphere.
"Old lady, how old are you? What's your name?"
The woman's face flushed red, and she gritted her teeth, the veins on her forehead bulging as she said, "My name is Tatlin, and I'm almost four hundred years old."
As soon as he finished speaking, Dastan Lengyan's face turned green. Even at just over three hundred years old, he still hadn't seen enough. He trembled with anger, his right hand trembling as he pointed the blade at her. Druzy loved all forms of betting and gambling, even risking his own life. No one liked to lose. Cheating and cheating were acceptable, but it depended on the opponent.
"Shit, I thought you were Genevieve. Who is Mrs. Melissa Dark?"
Tatlin looked at Dacus in shock and said, "That's my grandmother. Who are you? How do you know so much?"
Dacus nodded and said, "Since you asked so sincerely, I will mercifully tell you! I remain true to my name, Druzikalond Karl, the infamous Roxia the Fallen Heart!"
Ryan and Dastan Coldeye almost collapsed again.
"It seems you can't say hello to Lady Neferata on my behalf. I'll take you to Musilon to see your father. You'll figure out the rest on your own." Then he added, "Let's go, start unloading the cargo. This ship is full of wine. Let's drink to our heart's content! The water on the ship is even growing green."
Why did Dacius so readily let this woman go? Because this vampire would likely become the longest-reigning Tsar of Kislev, known as "Bloody Tatlin." The court was entirely staffed with female vampires, and Master Boyer couldn't stand it any longer. Finally, her son Pavel intervened and forced a stroke on her. Dacius seemed to understand that indescribable feeling: fate!
When I walked out of the cabin, it was already dawn.
After dinner, Daxus returned to the cabin to catch up on his sleep. When he woke up, Dastan Lengyan handed him the treasure map.
He casually opened the sheepskin treasure map and began to study it, then asked, "Where did you get it? Any ideas?"
Dastan Lengyan said, "I won it from a bet. I've had it in my hand for a while, and I can't tell where it is."
Daxus glanced at Dastan Lengyan, meaning, are you kidding me?
Dastan Cold Eyes hurriedly explained, "Master, last winter the Black Ark, the Shadow of Despair, was in Clar Karonde for repairs and supplies. I won it from that admiral. If I hadn't been serving the Hell's Disaster Family, he would have killed me."
Daxus thought, "What a shameless act."
He nodded reluctantly, handed the treasure map to Dastan Lengyan and said, "We'll talk about it when you become admiral. This location is the Dragon Islands."
Dastan Lengyan took the treasure map and knelt down, paying homage. He had come out here just to hear these words.
"Okay, okay, that's enough. Keep it safe and don't gamble too much next time. Losing the treasure map isn't a big deal, but don't risk your life."
Five days later, the Mousillon coastline.
Dacius said to Tatlin, "You can swim, right?"
Tatlin looked speechlessly at the coastline which was still some distance away. Alyssa and Dastan Lengyan beside her couldn't wait to kick her down. Alyssa wanted to kick her because this vampire always wanted to get close to Daquus in the past few days.
"Can you give me my weapon back?"
Dacus twirled the gilded flintlock pistol with his fingers, then suddenly stopped, arched his body, and pointed the flintlock at Tatlin at his waist, a typical American-style cohabitation.
"If you hadn't told me, I would have forgotten. You're staying on the boat for five days, and that's your fare. Take out the bullets and the cleaning rod!"
"you!"
Tatlin had no choice but to take it out and throw it on the ground.
"What attitude? You can leave now."
Tatlin glared at Dacius and said through gritted teeth: "You are truly a gentleman!"
"Thank you for your compliments. Goodbye! My dear lady, we will come to see you when we have the chance."
Tatlin ignored Dacus and jumped into the sea and swam towards the shore.
Dacus pointed his gun at Tatlin, who was doggy paddling, and said coldly, "Give her a boat. She'll definitely kill the rower and suck his blood when she gets ashore, just to show her strength against us."
Dastan asked with doubtful eyes: "Master, I still don't understand why you let her go."
Alyssa checked the cleaning rod and the bag to prevent any magic, blades, traps, etc. After confirming that they were correct, she picked them up and handed them to Daquus.
Dacus first cleared the gun barrel with a cleaning rod, loaded gunpowder and put the lead bullet into the muzzle, then pushed it in with the cleaning rod and raised the gun to aim at Tatlin who was still doggy paddling.
With a bang, a gunshot rang out and the bullet hit the sea surface next to Tatlin, splashing water. Dacus shook his head regretfully.
"Loxia, the Fallen Heart! I'll remember you! You bastard! Don't let me meet you again!"
Tatlin planed harder, and the sound faded away.
Daxus blew on the muzzle of his gun.
"Don't ask, if you ask, it's fate!"
