Julian follows Professor Oak back to the lab again as they sit down and have some conversation about Julian's journey.
Oak "I heard that the abandoned power plant exploded recently, you were near the powerplant when it happened right? do you know the reason behind it? "
Julian was taken back by this question but he didn't want to say anything to him.
Julian "I don't know I didn't stay even for a day at any town near the powerplant so I have no clue"
Oak "Hmm, it's fine they were going to rebuild it but for some reason, the construction was delayed, the workers said that they couldn't enter as pokemon's living there would attack them with no reason, many even said that the legendary bird Zapdos lived inside so people stopped entering it, but suddenly everything disappeared"
Julian looked at Professor Oak and thought how true Professor Oak's words were but he has no clue.
Oak "Well it's good news as well as they are now planning to make a better one than last time which will supply electricity to the whole Kanto Region"
Julian "It's good to hear"
Julian just nods and continues listening to Professor Oak
Oak "Recently the Viridian Gym also suffered some structure destruction, was it you as the people said that it was caused due to the battle between a trainer and the gym leader"
Julian couldn't hide this fact as this was clear as a day and anybody could easily relate the incident to him so he didn't hide this one
Julian "Yes it was me. the gym leader was really good and forced me to go all out"
Oak "Hahaha, I guessed it right, Viridian city's gym is the undisputed gym in the whole Kanto so a battle like that is not surprising at all, you know there are some rumors going wild about you because you defeated the gym leader of the Viridian gym, some even went beyond and said that you are a legendary trainer who is traveling around the world and when you heard about Viridian gym you went and challenged it and how easily you defeated him by blowing his gym, its lucky that no one has seen your face or the media would have already hunted you down after that incident many news reporters went to Viridian city to cover this story, they were really disappointed that they could not get the person in action on their cameras but they got tons of stories made by people about you, hahaha"
Julian "People are always making unnecessary problems for others, it's just a pokemon battle no need to take it to such length"
Oak "Well it's not surprising at all for people to make such assumption as you don't see a building destroying battle every day"
Julian "If you put it like that it makes sense"
Julian 'Man people love to make stories even if they were not present in the scene, I just hope that this thing dies down quickly'
(What Julian neither Professor Oak knew that this rumor is going to spread like wildfire to every region as the world will talk about a legendary trainer that is invincible).
Oak stood up and walked towards the TV and switched it on as both of them were getting bored because they had nothing to do now, Professor Oak had already sent the video footage to Professor Sycamore who lives in Kalos and was waiting for Daisy his granddaughter to arrive but she is running late, they had nothing to do so they decided to watch some TV.
When Professor Oak turned on the TV the channel which displayed on the screen was a news channel known as 'Kanto Today' it was now being hosted by a beautiful lady as the photo of the Viridian City's gym was being shown from the top view.
Host "As our viewers can see that the structure of the Viridian gym is completely decimated and the huge gaping hole on the top, the residence of the city said that they first saw a huge fire pillar rising toward the sky and after some time a huge explosion took place ripping off the roof and tearing down the building itself, the reason for this is said to be a legendary trainer who was offended by the gym leader so he destroyed the whole gym, our news reporter has informed us that the gym leader is now hospitalized, our news reporter also informed us that the explosion caused at the Kanto abandoned power plant is also related to the legendary trainer who is rumored to have battled the legendary pokemon Zapdos inside causing the disappearance of the whole site".
Julian couldn't believe his eyes as started to sweat seeing the power of media he knows that what they said in the news were just some story made up by the main head but if they knew how right they were they would just chock on their food
Oak "Hahahaha, Julian looks like you have become a celebrity who would have thought that just defeating a gym would cause such a ruckles"
Suddenly the main door opened and Daisy stepped in carrying a big lunch bag with her, Julian turned his head and saw her as he admired how beautiful she was, Daisy also noticed Julian staring at her as she smiled as she also stole some glance at Julian's handsome face.
Oak "Oh, Daisy why did it take so long for you to come, Julian and I were starving"
Daisy "Sorry grandpa, Julian, Gary suddenly called home informing that he might arrive back in one or two weeks so I got late as I was talking to him"
Oak "Oh Gary is coming back, well looks like we are going to have a reunion pretty soon"
Daisy then looked at the TV where the host was talking about the legendary trainer
Host "Who is this mysterious legendary trainer, whats his purpose of visiting Kanto, we will keep our viewers updated as soon as we receive more information about the legendary trainer as for now I am your host Sally form Kanto-Today"
Daisy "Did you hear about it grandpa, who do you think it is I am also very curious about this person who could destroy a gym"
Professor Oak smiled and looked at Julian asking him what to do, Julian quickly put up a Cross sigh with his hands indicating not to tell anything about it to Daisy
Oak "I don't know but I would like to meet this person as well"
Daisy "I hope I can meet him one day and see his pokemons, how they are groomed and became so powerful"
Oak "Sure you will, but first lets have our lunch Julian is waiting"
Daisy suddenly realized that Julian was also in the room and felt embarrassed for forgetting about him
Daisy "Julian, Grandpa wash your hands and come outside I will start preparing for lunch and I will be joining as well"
Oak "You didn't eat?"
Daisy "No, I wanted to eat with you guys and I also wanted to see Julian's pokemons and see how they are doing, last time I saw them they were so healthy"
Professor Oak walked away to wash his hands after hearing her then she suddenly heard Julian talk
Julian "Ah, it looks like you are more interested in my pokemons than me, I feel defeated"
Daisy "No that's not what I meant, I was also excited to meet yo-"
Daisy suddenly started to stutter due to embarrassment as she was about to complete the following sentence luckily for her Professor Oak has already gone away so he didn't hear anything.
Julian "Haha, don't worry I was just teasing you"
Daisy looked at Julian as if she was angry at him for pulling such an act but inside she felt happy that Julian cared a little about her.
Daisy "Hmf, yes I only wanted to see your pokemons and not you"
She turned around and showed it as if she is angry and went outside near the bench in the backyard to prepare for lunch, Julian was smiling seeing this he knew she is just acting and didn't mean those words she just said.
Julian 'She looks really cute when she looks angry'
Julian also walks away to wash his hands, after doing that he arrives at the backyard and see Daisy has already placed most of the dishes down on the bench, he also saw his Pokemons are back and are now playing with Daisy
Daisy "Wow Infernape your fur is so shiny, and your muscles are strong as well, last time I saw you, you were so small, Venusaur look at you all big and mighty and you guys must be his other pokemons, nice to meet all of you"
Then she saw Heatran and Kabutops and was very surprised as she had never seen these pokemons, she then heard footsteps as she saw Julian coming towards them.
Julian "They seem to really like you"
Daisy "Of course I plan to become the best pokemon groomer so I should be able to befriend any pokemon"
Julian "I am impressed"
Daisy felt happy after hearing Julian, then she looked at Julian with eyes filled with curiosity
Daisy "Are those two also your pokemons"
Julian "Yes, those two are Heatran and Kabutops, Heatran can be found in depth of volcanos and are very strong as for Kabutops he was revived from a fossil"
Julian didn't tell all the information about Heatran as he didn't think it was necessary and he didn't like to brag about his pokemons so he kept it simple.
Daisy "Wow, a pokemon that lives in a volcano and another one is a fossil"
Daisy was really excited to see them as she started to examine both of them, Professor Oak also arrived and saw his granddaughter with Julian's pokemon and smiled.
Soon they started to eat and had some conversion as the day went by in a flash.
