Kua Hu opened and closed his mouth, lost for words. With a stumped expression, he uttered, “It shouldn’t be. Young Master Yang managed to move freely under the heavenly punishments. How could he not withstand the erosion of the Thunder Lustre Hellfire?”
“Could he be pretending?” Que’er brightened up.
Kua Hu shook his head and said, “He’s not pretending. Can you still feel the life force within Young Master Yang?”
Seeing that Yang Zhen was almost completely burnt, Que’er exclaimed in disbelief, “Impossible, how could he die so easily?”
Kua Hu sighed and said, “Fate is mysterious, and life and death are predestined. It can only be said that Young Master Yang is not destined for the Heart of Heaven and Earth. Let’s go.
