Of course, Yang Zhen could fly, but this creature was too large and incredibly fast. He was afraid he would be swatted down by this creature before he even got off the ground which would be quite embarrassing.
Unable to catch Yang Zhen and the cat, the beast grew frustrated. It rushed to where Yang Zhen was and dug a large hole in the ground.
There was no way Yang Zhen would stay in one place waiting to be dug out by this beast. He had already escaped far with the cat.
Hiding behind a large rock, they watched the beast. The cat clucked its tongue in wonder, its face full of astonishment, “This creature is terrifying. If it were in ancient times, it would absolutely be one of the mounts that many strong ones sought after.”
Yang Zhen looked at the exceedingly ugly creature and shook his head, “The aesthetic standards of that era were not very good.”
The cat was taken aback, “What does aesthetics have to do with it? As long as it’s powerful and useful, that’s all that matters, kid, don’t you want to get one?”
“No, it’s too ugly. Even if his majesty wants a companion, he would want legendary beasts like dragons and phoenixes, or at the very least, a kylin.”

Yang Zhen couldn’t make out what this little girl looked like or how old she was. She was just as lively as a sprite, seemingly fused with the Heaven and Earth. Each jump and turn was filled with a feeling of natural grace.
This girl from the Demonic Race came to the side of the huge beast, pushed away the hair on her face, a brilliant smile flashed on her face, and she spoke, “Aguduo, you’re losing your temper again.”
The terrifying beast was roaring wildly, but when it heard the girl’s words, it roared at the Demonic Race girl and continued to dig the hole.
The girl was stunned, a hint of fear flashed across her face, she sniffed the air and said with surprise, “You say there’s the smell of humans?”
As she spoke, her eyes lit up with excitement. She moved closer to Aguduo and asked eagerly, “What do humans look like? My mother says that humans are all evil spirits, so scary they could scare people to death.”
Aguduo growled lowly, apparently not answering the girl’s question, but vigilantly looking around instead.

The little girl stared blankly, a puzzled look on her face as she stared at Yang Zhen and asked, “Aren’t you a human?”
Yang Zhen responded with a grin, saying, “Have you ever seen a human as handsome as me?”
The little girl shook her head and replied, “My mom said, humans are all evil monsters. I…I haven’t met a human before.”
Yang Zhen sighed, sat down on the spot and said, “YES, humans are all evil monsters. They are all pigs. I have met humans and lived in human society for many years, so I carry a human aura. But I…I am a person born and raised in the Demonic Race, and I’ll die as a spirit of the Demonic Race!”
The little girl, seeing the proud look on Yang Zhen’s face, turned to Ah Gu Duo doubtfully. But Ah Gu Duo seemed just as puzzled, growling in alert as it watched Yang Zhen. Yet due to Yang Zhen’s diminutive size, even if it bowed its head, it couldn’t get a clear view of him.
