Chapter 630: Chapter 637: The Bug Speaks? (Second update)
If the people from Moluo Gate like Death Shadow were described as hosting bugs within their bodies, then the creature that emerged from the coffin was a human made up entirely of bugs. As it ran, bugs fell off its body, specifically white beetles about the size of ants. The mere sight of it was enough to send shivers down one’s spine.

Gong Sanhe and Death Shadow were equally stunned. They stopped in their tracks and watched as the whole swarm of white bugs chased Yang Zhen all over the place.
“What the hell are you two still standing there for? Take it down!”
Yang Zhen let out a strange yell. He wasn’t afraid of the creature per se; it was just that he had always been afraid of bugs since he was young. The thought of fighting this thing, and the potential risk of being covered in bugs, was enough to make his skin crawl and induce intense disgust.
Upon hearing Yang Zhen’s words, Gong Sanhe and Death Shadow immediately sprang into action, launching a barrage of spells at the swarm.

The bugs roared in unison, countless white bugs swarming from all sides, buzzing and covering the sky.

“Undoubtedly, it’s dead now, and these bugs are the ones controlling its body,” Gong Sanhe quickly explained.
“Quit talking nonsense! How do we kill all these bugs?” Yang Zhen yelled, hastily leaping into the air to avoid a swipe from the creature.
The arm that was aiming at him extended to over two meters in length, catching him off guard and narrowly missing his backside.
Yang Zhen immediately retaliated with a wave of fire, reducing the grotesquely long ‘hand’ to ashes. However, this seemed to pose no threat to the bug puppet. In less than two breaths, it regrew a hand and charged at Yang Zhen once again, emitting a series of menacing roars.
“Give…back…”
A low, ghostly voice that seemed to echo from hell reached Yang Zhen’s ears. Thinking he had misheard, he turned his head to the white bugs, his face full of confusion. “What the hell, can the bugs talk now?”

The Southern Region’s Insect Witchcraft truly lives up to its reputation – it’s nothing short of miraculous,” Gong Sanhe stated, looking both awestruck and alarmed, yet he didn’t dare to falter in his actions.
