It was terrifying to think that Yang Zhen and the damned cat could come up with such a malicious punishment. Not to mention Guo Jing, even the bravest of the brave would find it unbearable. A punishment that would make the person wish to die than live.

Guo Jing opened his mouth, but didn’t manage to say anything.
The crowd stared in shock, exchanging glances. No one could have guessed that Yang Zhen had known the answer all along and still managed to make Guo Jing, who considered himself dead anyway, confess on his own accord.
This Yang Zhen was certainly terrifying and despicable in equal measure.

Yang Zhen glanced at the confused Guo Jing and it was clear that Guo Jing was also in the dark about this. Apparently Fang Zhongjian had chosen not to tell him, maybe fearing treason and retaliation.
