Tears streamed from his eyes and tumbled off the mountain peak, literally forming a river—a torrential downpour like a waterfall.

Orson immediately understood.
The swirling vision must have been a memory from the orcish sacred land.

Orson was stunned.
When the light faded, a vibrant, blood-stained flower rested on Drunken Dream’s chest.

It was a literal Dragon God’s blessing, descending from the game world into reality.
Orson gave a contented nod, a bit envious.
No wonder Drunken Dream had once ranked among the Celestial Trials’ elite.
Chosen ones with monstrous luck like him didn’t die easily. The gods themselves were watching over them.
“Solarius, ruler of mortals, symbol of hope… interesting.”
Orson mused.
Drunken Dream must have accepted a Legendary-Tier quest.

James gulped hard. “Holy shit. It worked.”
His worldview shattered again.
A literal corpse, brought back before his eyes—even with mental prep, he couldn’t help but feel his breath hitch.
James carefully peeled back the bandages from Yuri’s head.
Both men were shocked to find that even the surgical stitches had been pushed out by freshly grown flesh.
Only a faint scar remained.
If Yuri hadn’t been shaved bald, it’d be hard to believe it had ever happened.
“I had a dream… someone was calling my name. Telling me to find her. So strange…”
Drunken Dream opened his eyes, murmuring.
“Ah—so bright!”
Sunlight hit his eyelids. His fingers twitched. He instinctively tried to shield his eyes.
James froze in place.
“I… I read your file. You were born blind. Right?”
“Yeah. Looks like it.”
Orson chuckled.
The blind Dragon Knight could see again. Another miracle from Rootless Water—like a system-wide character refresh.
“My friend… did you die too?”
Drunken Dream heard the familiar voice and looked down at his hands, dazed.
“I didn’t expect us to meet again here… in the afterlife.”
In his mind, being able to see again only made sense in two places: inside Infinite Dimensions or in death.
“Baldy!! Give me back my relics!! Tenfold payback!! The Dragon Emperor won’t forgive you!!”
Berenice popped out of Orson’s bag and began stomping furiously on Yuri’s bald head.
“Wait… even my dragon egg came to hell with me? What the hell did I do to deserve this?”
Drunken Dream blinked, baffled. “I thought I told you—always walk the righteous path!”
Orson shook his head, amused. He snapped his fingers in Yuri’s face.
“My dear friend, that death of yours? Absolutely worthless.
You disgraced the Silver Dragon Knight title.
Next time, give me a heads-up before you die. I’ll be sure to attend the funeral.”
He smirked, the edges of his mouth lifting in an ominous curve.
Drunken Dream stared in shock, finally realizing he was in a hospital room.
“But how… how can I see you right now?”
Orson gave a faint smile and told him everything that had happened.
By the time he finished, Yuri looked at him like he was some eldritch horror.
“I think… I just got a quest,” he said slowly, propping himself up. “It told me to go to the Dragonbirth Grounds and find a woman named Solarius.”
Orson was startled.
That was the same location he needed to visit to hatch Berenice.
Too much of a coincidence.
His expression darkened.
Was this BlazeKing’s doing? A setup by the Ancient Dragon Gods?
Or worse—by the gods themselves?
Upon digging deeper, Yuri revealed that a week ago, while visiting the Holy Light Dragon Graveyard,
he had triggered a Legendary-tier hidden quest: [In Search of Love].
At the time, it had no details. But after his resurrection, the objective finally appeared in his mind—along with coordinates to the Dragonbirth Grounds.
Orson felt a chill run through him.
If he hadn’t used Rootless Water, Yuri wouldn’t have revived.
Wouldn’t have received the Divine Item.
Wouldn’t have gotten the quest.
He never would’ve learned the location either.
Too perfect. Too deliberate.
Orson didn’t believe in coincidences.
When things aligned too smoothly… it was usually because someone made them align.
He felt… manipulated.
And he hated that.
“Who the hell is pulling the strings here…?”
Orson muttered under his breath.
Friend or foe—it didn’t matter.
He would not let anyone script his fate.
“By the way… what about my butler? The staff that cared for me?”
Drunken Dream asked, his voice trembling.
James hesitated. He turned to Orson, asking silently for permission.
Orson frowned, then nodded. “Tell him. No point in hiding it.”
James sighed and laid it all out.

The Upton Family estate was destroyed.
More than ten servants died in what officials called a “carbon monoxide incident.”
Three mansions had their windows and doors sealed shut.

Yuri collapsed back into the bed, his soul seemingly drained.
Orson reached out and snatched the still-raging Berenice out of the air.
He was about to offer some comfort, but Yuri suddenly grabbed his wrist.
Tears welled in his eyes.
“Before I go down this path… I want to give you all my gear, gold, everything I have in the game.”
“You think you’re going to prison?”
Orson narrowed his eyes, smirking like the devil.
He leaned close and whispered:
“My noble Silver Dragon Knight…
You were born to reign.
You’re a king.
Kings don’t commit crimes.”
