“Wait… Isn’t the Blood Demon Ancestor Winona?” Orson frowned and asked.
“She did create the hybrid bloodline of the Blood Clan, yes. But she was once an Archangel, and it was through this item that she fell,” Ursula explained.
Orson suddenly understood. The Blood Clan existed in two forms: monstrous creatures and intelligent hybrid bloodlines.
He paused for a moment, then murmured, “No wonder Winona said she was no longer recognized by the Crown of Sin. Looks like this divine item is more complicated than I thought. It can choose its master?”
A smirk appeared on Orson’s face as he teased, “Then aren’t you afraid of falling into corruption?”
Ursula’s response made Orson regard her with new respect. She smiled softly and shook her head. “Born in the sea of sin, I was destined to fall. It’s my fate.”
Orson rarely had such thoughts about NPCs. While most NPCs adhered to the will of the gods, some were exceptions.
The Crown of Sin choosing its master explained why Cassandra, the candidate for empress, had been so eager to collect the Fragments of the Blood Demon Essence.
It also made sense why Cassandra knew the Crown of Sin could choose its master and needed to be sealed by the Purple-Gold Dragon King to be used.
Orson pondered for a moment. Cassandra had offered a very generous reward for her quest, and he couldn’t afford to pass it up. But he also didn’t want to see someone from the Purple-Gold family become empress.
What to do?
Then, it hit him like a flash of inspiration. He had overcomplicated things. What if the Purple-Gold Dragon King died? Even if Cassandra temporarily took the Crown of Sin, he could still complete the quest. Without the ability to seal the crown, it would return to Ursula.
Perfect! The solution was to turn the tables. Orson grinned, knowing he had maximized his advantage.
“Now that the Blissful Sanctuary is destroyed, you said you’d give me everything. Do you still mean that?” Orson flashed a sly grin.
“Ursula! Lili’s here!”
Ursula raised her head slightly, and a small figure staggered toward her. Her eyes glimmered as she watched.
“I follow the will of the God-Emperor. I obey you.” Ursula smiled warmly and bowed deeply to Orson.
“You filthy…” Suddenly, Hillogu, who had been hiding behind Ursula, yelled, “Don’t forget, your life is in the hands of the Church! That supreme being will not let you go!”
With that, the old man shook with anger, and with a slap, he struck Ursula’s flawless face.

In a flash, Hillogu let out a horrible scream as half his shoulder was sliced off by Supreme Arcane Blade, blood spilling everywhere.
“Don’t interrupt when the master speaks.” Orson sneered.
“You… You can’t kill me, the Church won’t let you!” Hillogu collapsed to the ground, clutching his severed limb, retreating in pain.
“Don’t get it wrong, it’s I who won’t let them go.” Orson smiled coldly, striding toward Hillogu.
“Damn heretic!” Hillogu cursed through gritted teeth. He pulled out a space scroll, and a portal appeared behind him.
Without hesitation, Hillogu turned and tried to step through the portal. Orson scoffed, having already anticipated this move.
His golden Supreme Soul Disc summoned, wielding its staff, casting Golden Law: Tenfold Gravity!
Hillogu’s face turned pale as though a mountain had been placed on top of him. But this sneaky man wasn’t done yet. With veins bulging on his forehead, he activated his Domain Lord-Class power and tried to take another step toward escape.
The golden Supreme Soul Disc remained expressionless, its Whisper of the Wind boosting its attack speed, while Chaos Magic Balls pelted Hillogu relentlessly.

Every normal attack stacked a 10% gravity buff, stacking up to 20 layers.
With gravity now multiplied, Hillogu screamed in pain as his body was crushed, finally collapsing in front of the portal, unable to move.
“Good luck today, let’s test our luck again.” Orson smirked, lifting Supreme Arcane Blade as flames swirled around it, preparing to deliver the final blow to Hillogu.
But just as the blade descended, Bang! A massive explosion rang out, and a spark flew from the edge of Supreme Arcane Blade.
