Orson’s gaze turned razor-sharp as he looked at the crimson cocoon glowing ever brighter. His eyes wavered, and he whispered, “This time… let me be the one to protect you.”
He didn’t give a damn about world keystones or how strong the enemy was.
If the dragons wanted a deathmatch—then he’d bury them all right here.
Orson scanned the sky filled with purple crystal light. All of Pondenorlin City was now affected by the Purple Gold Dragon King’s sealing curse.
The purple crystals didn’t fade like ordinary magic—they grew like fungus, spreading endlessly. At this rate, the entire zone would be blanketed. Every player caught in battle would be doomed alongside them.
“Supreme Soul Disc.”
Orson steadied his thoughts, switching back into Chaos Mage form and summoning five mirror-image clones.
“Clear the small fry first,” he said calmly.
“Just what I was hoping for,” Glacier grinned bloodthirstily, charging into the golden dragons with his massive Light-Dark greatsword.
He had slain Golden Dragon King Soros. Even if these five were all Saint Lord-tier Dragons, they were just tougher mobs to him now.
“You’re insane. Both of you are completely insane!”
Grevor had tried to flee, but the Purple Gold Dragon King had sealed the escape path, forcing him to return.
“That bastard runs fast—damn it!”
Grevor was practically choking on regret. He should’ve escaped with the Light Dragon King when he had the chance.
Now, stuck between two enraged Dragon Kings and a horde of golden dragons, even a divine envoy like him might end up as dragon barbecue next to his idiot apprentice.
“If you’re not gonna fight, I might as well kill you first,” Orson said coldly, glancing over his shoulder.
Grevor clenched his teeth. “You lunatic—you have no idea what you’ve done! With the Golden Dragon King dead, someone has to take his place and maintain the World Keystone, or this realm will collapse!”
Orson yawned, then smiled lazily. “And what does that have to do with me?”
“You…!”
Grevor was furious but had no argument.
A golden glow surged—the Golden Dragons were coming.
Orson commanded his clones with full concentration. Clapping his hands together, he chanted, “Earthquake!”
Six stone dragons burst from the earth to intercept the incoming threat. Then Orson pointed his War Supreme Staff toward Grevor, redirecting one of the dragons’ breaths right at him.
“You bastard!”
Grevor’s jaw dropped. In a panic, he summoned two elemental giants to block the attack.
Seberk: “Light God’s Envoy, I’ve long known your heart is full of deceit. You’ve tried to wipe out my kin more than once! You do not represent the God of Light!”
Grevor: “I…!”
He was on the verge of tears. Completely set up, he couldn’t even defend himself.
“Damn it! Damn it all!”
The Golden Dragons unleashed another wave of Dragon Curses, and Grevor was forced to engage the enemy head-on—all thanks to Orson pushing him into the fire pit.
Orson smirked in satisfaction and brought his Supreme Soul Disc clones together.
Suddenly, a storm erupted. Clouds churned as six wind-elemental goddesses materialized—each clone raising a Hurricane Spear into the sky.
Orson knew bunching them up was risky—one AoE from the dragons could wipe them out. But with the Crimson Lizard King gone, he’d lost mobility. Now, he had to plant himself like a turret and fire for maximum effect.
Seberk: “Orgod! I’ll kill you myself!”
Dragon Curse! Dragon Curse! Dragon Curse…!
In an instant, every Golden Dragon focused on Orson. The one who had slain their king had become target number one.
The six Hurricane Spears launched at once.
The five Golden Dragons didn’t even blink. They hurled Dragon Curse spells to intercept.
No matter how strong a human adventurer was—they couldn’t possibly stand against the might of true dragons!
“Sorry. I don’t have time for games.”
Orson let out a quiet laugh. The Mirror of Folding flashed in the sky, sucking in the Hurricane Spears into a spatial warp.
They dodged the direct magical collision, reappearing at five times their original speed—howling toward the wounded Seberk like banshees.
Seberk, Soros’s eldest son, was stronger than the others. Battle-hardened, his reflexes were sharp. He instantly reverted to human form and dropped to the ground.
Gold light surged around him as he growled, “Golden Dragon Form!”
Crit – 1.1 million!
Crit – 220k!
-30k!
Burning – 7,000!
Thanks to Golden Dragon Form’s massive damage reduction, the total damage was under 1.5 million.
Orson didn’t flinch. Just before the next wave of Dragon Curse spells hit, he teleported all his clones out through the spatial network.
Seberk: “Lowly human! You killed my father with cowardly tricks, and now you think you can stand against us Golden Dragons?!”
Seberk laughed arrogantly.
Orson reappeared on the far end of the battlefield, calm as ever.
“Without Body Domination, you’re already dead.”
Seberk’s face twisted in shock. Just as he tried to re-enter dragon form, a powerful figure burst out of the shadows.
Glacier. Light-Dark greatsword roaring in hand.
Slash slash slash!
A glowing V-shaped sword slash tore through the air.
Seberk screamed in agony—both arms were severed, and his transformation spell was forcefully canceled.
“Want to hear your kin’s death song firsthand?”
Glacier’s eyes burned. He spun midair and delivered a brutal kick that sent Seberk flying.
Then came the downward slash—Seberk tried to dodge, but it was already too late.
In his Moment of Radiance state, Glacier’s internal AI, “Bradley,” had already predicted Seberk’s dodge.
The greatsword pierced straight through him. Then with one hand, Glacier launched him upward with a Dragon Rising Slash.
Orson smiled coldly. He raised his staff and launched a pinpoint auto-attack from two kilometers away—keeping Seberk airborne.
“Awakened Skill – Judgment Flame.”
“Awakened Skill – Divine Verdict…”
Six death stars lit up the sky.
Seberk was dragged toward them, his body pulled by the immense gravitational force. He screamed as his limbs were nearly torn apart.
Then—BOOM!
A mushroom cloud rose from the horizon.
Fatal Hit – 12 million!

Orson turned his back to the blast, walking away like a silent apostle of death.
