The Crimson Lizard King opened its mouth and unleashed a fiery breath that burned everything in its path. The rocks melted as if they were made of glue, and a flying passage was carved out of the wall in an instant.
“You are about to leave the dungeon!”
A system notification popped up. Orson’s expression remained calm as the Frost Dragon followed, charging into the rock face. With brute force, the dragon tried to tear everything apart, driven by the primal urge to shred both beast and rider to pieces.
Moments later, the Frost Dragon broke through the mountain and let out a furious roar. Its dragon’s might spread, shaking the land.
Dragon’s Might Revealed, Demons Flee!
All neutral creatures, as well as powerful monsters near the Purple Thunder Fortress, began to tremble in fear. Under the pressure of the King of the Skies, most creatures dared not fight back, even if it meant death. This was the power of the Dragon Clan, a soul-searing imprint etched into the very beings of all creatures in the Infinite Dimensions world.
However, an even fiercer and more irritable roar broke through the air. This sound showed no fear in the face of the dragon and, mere moments earlier, had even ripped out one of the dragon’s eyes.
Dare to challenge the might of the Dragon Clan?
Varrag, the Frost Dragon, roared once more and flew toward the source of the sound.
However, after flying for a few minutes, the dragon’s lone remaining eye showed a hint of confusion.
Where was that puny, snack-sized insect?
Puff puff puff…
Before it could even process what had happened, dozens of chaotic fireballs appeared out of thin air, bombarding the dragon’s injured eye.
Varrag, in pain, searched frantically for the source of the attack, but all it received in response were more and more attacks.
One wave after another.
A destructive breath shot through the sky like a laser, locking onto Varrag’s head and turning its once-blue skull into a charred, comical sight.
The dragon could feel the presence of the Crimson Lizard King, but where the hell was that damn bug?
Varrag’s patience snapped, and it began releasing its powers wildly, but it couldn’t even find a target to hit.
A mirrored flash of light appeared through the clouds, and Varrag’s massive form was reflected in it.
“You’re actually following me out of the dungeon? Come on, keep going!”
“Aren’t you supposed to be invincible? Find us if you can!”
“Hah! Hah! Hah!”
From over seven or eight kilometers away, the duo of rider and beast made odd, mocking sounds.
The two mischievous creatures continued to unleash attacks toward the dragon’s eye. Through the mirrors in the clouds, their projectiles sped up five times, leaving the Frost Dragon with no chance to dodge.
System Notification: “The Frost Dragon is moving away from you!”
“You survived the dragon’s mouth by sheer luck. You gain 20 attribute points and 2 talent points. Achievement: [Survivor of the Dragon’s Mouth] unlocked.”
Orson could only roll his eyes at the system’s words. “What do you mean by ‘surviving by luck’?” he muttered. “This system’s judgment is way off. It thinks I’m running from the dragon’s pursuit, and now I’ve unlocked some random achievement!”
But the truth was far from that. Orson was smashing the Frost Dragon in retaliation, not fleeing.
His shooting range had reached an overpowered five kilometers, and with the God Emperor’s Earrings enhancing his abilities, Orson’s theoretical range could hit a crazy ten kilometers!
With the Magic Eye Mirror, which had a five-minute cooldown, Orson was able to fire for two minutes non-stop, while accurately locking onto the Frost Dragon.
Orson knew that once the cooldown ended, if the boss managed to break free from combat, its health regeneration would be terrifyingly fast.
So as soon as the God Emperor’s skill went on cooldown, Orson would intentionally close the gap and use the Crimson Lizard King to provoke the Frost Dragon to keep the aggro.
At this point, with the Crimson Lizard King’s flight speed, the old dragon was having trouble even recognizing its opponent.
The Frost Dragon shot another breath through the clouds, but the Crimson Lizard King merely snorted in disdain.
“Dammit, stop showing off already!” Orson wiped the sweat from his forehead.
The Crimson Lizard King, after dying once, had grown even more cunning. Though still fierce, its behavior became more unpredictable and harder to read.
“Dragon Clan’s nemesis,” Orson muttered to himself, looking at the Crimson Lizard King’s status bar. The buff had no extra bonuses but resembled the Soul Seal talent that players had.
The hint from the system when the Crimson Lizard King evolved was “Return to Ancestors” instead of “Evolution,” which made Orson question the dragon’s bloodline origins.
After all, in Infinite Dimensions’ lore, many races had clashed with the Dragon Clan. For example, the Leviathan beasts that nearly wiped out the dragons, along with legendary kings of beasts and even divine creatures, had once slain dragons.
Orson thought to himself: The Death God Mountain likely hides some shocking secrets.
The Crimson Lizard King’s home was the Death God Mountain, a place filled with the flying beasts most players loathed. Because of this, few ventured into the elite dungeons there. Orson only knew the general distribution of the monsters but didn’t know much about the dungeon strategies. He had always believed that farming gold there was a waste of time.
However, the fact that the Crimson Lizard King could speak before dying and the unusual “Return to Ancestors” phenomenon made Orson reconsider. Perhaps a trip to the Death God Mountain was necessary.
“One upgrade to Domain Lord requires a Dragon Crystal. This old dragon must die!” Orson silently vowed.

He knew that even with the help of the Crimson Lizard King, his current strength wasn’t enough to face a fully healthy dragon. The Crimson Lizard King’s speed advantage was only effective against this old, weakened dragon. A full-grown dragon would easily counterattack before he could even shoot from five kilometers away.
Two minutes later, Orson activated the Mirror Mirror once again and resumed pummeling the already weakened Frost Dragon.
Orson transformed into his venomous form, grinning wildly. Direct confrontation certainly stirred his blood, but he loved the thrill of being the underdog, the sneaky “old six” as the term went.
No matter how strong the dragon was, if it couldn’t touch him, it was just a giant meat target—forced to take damage passively.
An hour passed, and the Frost Dragon’s 60 million health had been reduced by half.
The dragon-slaying operation was almost complete!
Only ten million health remained!
Orson took a deep breath and closed his eyes to meditate.
The Crimson Lizard King continued to soar through the skies of Infinite Dimensions, relentlessly harassing the nearly roasted Frost Dragon.
Orson shook his head helplessly. Even the perpetual motion machine of the battlefield had its limits.
With more than 50,000 mana, Orson could handle multiple boss battles without running out of energy.
But dragons were different. Their high health, attack power, and breath attacks didn’t require mana, and they had everything piled into one.
“Please note! The Frost Dragon Varrag is using Dragon Tongue!”
A strange and incomprehensible language sounded.
Orson’s eyes snapped open as he murmured, “The unparalleled Magic Apostle, the esteemed protector of Purple Thunder Fortress, the Purple Dragon Prince, I, Varrag, request your assistance!”
Orson’s eyes flickered. The old dragon had no idea that Orson had once been a trial participant and had explored many Dragon Clan relics. He could understand bits of Dragon Tongue.
At this point, Orson had already reached an empty space hundreds of kilometers away from Purple Thunder Fortress and Pondenorlin City.
Varrag’s calls for help could never reach those cities without proper aid.
But the Dragon Tongue spell was a dragon-exclusive ability, a long-range call between dragons—a sort of encrypted telegraph.
“By the name of the Dragon King of Light, I request the Pondenorlin Guardians to exterminate the Dragon Slayer. I am willing to offer all my accumulated treasure as a reward!” Varrag continued to whisper.
Orson wouldn’t show mercy. He raised his staff, and the winds changed.
“Magic Eye Mirror!”
“Celestial Descent!”
“Double Celestial Descent!”
The Magic Eye expanded rapidly, and three meteorites shot through the sky.
With five times the speed, three fiery meteors appeared above Varrag’s head.
Varrag’s massive form was struck by all three at once and plummeted down to the plains below.

Crushing Damage: -500,000!

The massive damage numbers flooded the screen. Varrag’s body was buried deep in the ground, leaving it with less than 5 million health!
At this moment, the eerie magic symbols suddenly flashed and split in two, flying toward two major cities.
“Oh no! The Dragon Tongue spell has ended!” Orson exclaimed in panic.
