“Mysterious person!”
Chen Bugu’s face was vigilant, and he quickly held the Jade Ripple in his hand.
The two pairs of blue eyes surfaced, belonging to the same Mysterious person as before.
A black snake coiled around the Mysterious person’s shell, its head looking at Chen Bugu.
Chen Bugu had naturally heard that King-level magical beasts could understand human speech, but the Mysterious person only spoke five words, three of which he couldn’t understand.
“Long time no see?”
He and the Mysterious person had only met for less than ten minutes; how could that be called “long time no see”?
“Do we know each other?”

The forest, ravaged after the disaster, was silent, returning to a deathly stillness.
