The Elders and disciples from the Tai Hua Holy Land who had already gathered at the venue suddenly became restless.
Flanked by the members of his clan, Jiang Yu made his way to the Martial Arts Platform.
The Jiang Family’s strength was second only to the Lin Family, possessing an Immortal Emperor Realm Supreme Elder to oversee them and one acting as a protector of the Holy Land.

The leading Elder of the Jiang Clan spoke, “Jiang Yu, you must retain the position of Holy Son at all costs. Our Jiang Family has only ever reached the position of Left Envoy; none has ever become a Saint Lord.”
Jiang Yu sneered, “Don’t worry, Clan Leader. I won’t disappoint you. The position of Holy Son belongs to me, Jiang Yu.”
The members of the Jiang Family took their seats, and Jiang Yu stepped onto the Martial Arts Platform.
“I have the Emperor Soldier given to me by the Ancestor as my trump card; it’s impossible for me to lose.”
Jiang Yu crossed his arms, closed his eyes, and composed himself, patiently waiting for his opponent, Lu Changsheng, to arrive.

There was another flurry of commotion among the crowd as Lu Changsheng arrived at the Martial Arts Platform with several disciples.
“Junior Brother must win.”
Lin Qinghan sat next to Lin Xuantong, silently rooting for Lu Changsheng.
“You all take a seat; I’ll dispatch this person quickly.”
Lu Changsheng instructed his fellow disciples to watch as he ascended the platform to face Jiang Yu.
Besides the Grand Freedom Buddha, who overwhelmingly surpassed him in strength, and Lin Qinghan, with whom he sparred regularly, Jiang Yu could be the strongest opponent Lu Changsheng had ever faced.
The two stood opposite each other on the Martial Arts Platform.

Just as they faced off, suddenly, several terrifying presences descended and took up the vacant spots next to Lin Xuantong.

Most of the disciples, and even some Elders from the Tai Hua Holy Land, couldn’t recognize the frost-haired old men.
These Elders were able to sit on an equal footing with Lin Xuantong, their statuses even surpassing those of protectors and Supreme Elders.
“They are the Ancestors who have been cultivating in the back mountain of the Holy Land!”
“Who would have thought that this contention for the Holy Son would actually disturb the Ancestors who usually keep to themselves!”

Many of the Supreme Elders recognized the identities of these Elders and stood up.
