"Where is this?"
Wizet looked around, finding the scene completely unfamiliar, and a question arose in his mind.
Wasn't he in his final cram session before the exam?
How did he end up here?
Rubble and debris were scattered everywhere, and the ceiling and walls were torn with huge gaps.
The fireplace not far away was also largely destroyed, and ash was still flying in the air.
Clearly, this was not his room, but a ruin.
Suddenly, an inexplicable memory surged like a tide, pouring into Wizet's mind.
The original host was a Dark Wizard's experimental subject, forced to undergo various inhumane Dark Arts experiments.
During this process, the original host endured too much pain and torment, developing an immense fear of magic and giving rise to a powerful Dark Arts power.
This was the Dark Wizards' goal; he wanted to cultivate a controllable Obscurus, but he forgot that those who play with fire will burn themselves.
The original host's Obscurus, without any warning, spontaneously erupted.
It not only destroyed this building but also tore the Dark Wizard to shreds...
After digesting these memories, Wizet understood one thing—
He had transmigrated!
He had transmigrated into the magic World of Harry Potter!
Unfortunately, he hadn't read the original Harry Potter books. He only had a very superficial understanding of names like Luna, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Lord Voldemort, and Dumbledore, as well as some glimpses of these characters, through some fan-made compilation videos.
As for movies, he had only seen one spin-off film—Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
He knew more about this movie.
It was the story of Newt Scamander's journey to New York. The ending not only released the Thunderbird but also captured Gellert Grindelwald. It seemed a sequel would be made, but unfortunately, he wouldn't get to see it.
This movie described the Obscurus—a powerful but uncontrollable Dark Arts power.
And its manifested form was like a black mist containing ashes, so was he in that form now?
Just as he had this thought, he felt his body suddenly become restless.
A plume of black mist shot out before his eyes, rapidly destroying the wall in front of him and raising a cloud of dust.
"The power is actually so great!"
A furious emotion suddenly appeared, spreading through Wizet's mind, making him harbor an evil desire to destroy everything.
This was the drawback of the Obscurus.
Those who possess an Obscurus are called Obscurials. Obscurials are controlled by the Obscurus, losing control of their body, leaving only an intense desire for destruction.
The lifespan of an Obscurial is extremely short; aside from Credence in the movie, it seems no Obscurial has lived past the age of ten.
The original host, having undergone various Dark Arts experiments and modifications, had an abnormal adaptability to magic long ago.
Coupled with the Dark Wizard's intentional actions, the original host managed to survive until the age of eleven without dying.
But Wizet could feel that this eruption was no small matter; the Obscurus was eroding his mind.
Once his consciousness was completely taken over by the Obscurus, he might be the fastest-dying transmigrator in history.
The notes left by the Dark Wizard!
All the methods for restricting the Obscurus were obtained by the Dark Wizard from a notebook.
Wizet had to find that notebook and use the knowledge within it to control the Obscurus to save his life.
He floated in mid-air, the dust on the ground blowing everywhere, barely allowing him to see the scattered debris.
Just as he was meticulously searching for the notebook, a crisp "crackling" sound came from the air, and vortices appeared out of nowhere.
It was Apparition!
The original host's Obscurus eruption had destroyed this place, so it was only a matter of time before Wizards arrived, but he hadn't expected them to be so quick!
Edward A. Murphy once said: If anything can go wrong, it will.
For Wizards, the Obscurus is as dangerous as a flood or a fierce beast.
In the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, when the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) discovered the existence of an Obscurus, they immediately launched an attack to eliminate Credence.
Four Wizards appeared before Wizet, and things were developing in the worst possible direction.
They wouldn't care if Wizet could recover; they all raised their wands and assumed attacking stances.
"It's an Obscurus! Send for people from the Auror Office! This isn't something we can handle!"
Vortices reappeared, and one person left, returning to inform the Auror Office.
The situation was still very bad; the remaining three appeared incredibly nervous, beads of sweat dripping from their foreheads.
"Protego Maxima!"
The three chanted spells, and layer upon layer of magical energy fields appeared, enveloping Wizet.
"merlin's beard! How many years has it been since an Obscurus appeared?"
"Are we just going to stand here and wait? Should we do something else?"
"Don't act rashly! Just control the Obscurus! Wait for the Aurors to arrive, then attack together to avoid any complications!"
The situation escalated further.
The intentions of the three were very clear.
They trapped Wizet here, planning to eliminate him once they had enough personnel.
Wizet tried to communicate but could only emit a whistling sound like a strong wind passing through.
If he used the power of the Obscurus to break through the encirclement, the notebook would likely be destroyed by the power, and the Obscurus's erosion would accelerate.
Only one path lay before him—
Find the notebook as soon as possible to return to normal and prove he was not dangerous.
...
After some searching, his efforts finally paid off. An ancient notebook with a cowhide cover entered Wizet's vision.
What he found most peculiar was a swirling, spiraling silver-blue vortex floating above the notebook.
The vortex seemed to sense his gaze and flew straight towards him.
The notebook turned to dust and vanished the moment the vortex ascended.
Before Wizet could react, the rapidly approaching vortex drilled straight into his mind.
"The Practical Guide to Wizarding Duels"
The notebook that had turned to dust revealed its name, appearing in his mind, and slowly unfolded its first page.
A vast amount of knowledge entered his mind, converging in his consciousness, forming wondrous characters.
"Guardian Meditation": Enhances magic affinity... Gathers uncontrollable negative emotions... Collects, stores, and seals emotions... Transforms them into Ancient Magic Power...
Instantly, Wizet had mastered the meditation technique, and he immediately began to meditate.
Upon entering a meditative state, everything around him became clear.
He could feel the Obscurus more comprehensively, feeling the extraordinary nature of this power...
His mind was like a giant whirlpool, absorbing, purifying, and transforming the power of the Obscurus...
Everything seemed to be moving in a positive direction.
However, Edward A. Murphy also said: If there is a possibility of something going wrong, no matter how small that possibility, it will eventually happen.
Accompanied by dense "crackling" sounds, Wizards emerged from the vortices one by one, surrounding Wizet.
"It really is an Obscurus!"
"The secrecy law has been in effect for so long, why would an Obscurus still appear?"
"Who cares! The priority is to eliminate the Obscurus and prevent it from causing more harm. Let's act!"
The Wizards present raised their wands, magical light brewing at their wand tips, strong magical power surging around them, and dust flew again.
With the Wizards' attack imminent, this was undoubtedly the worst moment for Wizet.
Amidst the flying dust, a flash of fire appeared out of nowhere, and an old man walked out of it.
The old man was dressed in a purple robe adorned with gold trim, with silver hair and a silver beard long enough to tuck into his belt, and bright blue eyes behind his spectacles.
All the Wizards present showed surprised expressions, "Headmaster Dumbledore? Why are you here?"
