Cassandra awoke from her slumber. She had passed out and slept longer than usual because of what Kyle had done for her.
“Kyle…?” Cassandra called out but he was nowhere to be seen.
She got up from the bed and noticed that his clothes were nowhere to be seen.
Cassandra signed and realized that he must have left. He was a busy man, and his time was valuable.
But she couldn’t believe what he put her body through

Kyle spotted her and quickly adjusted his body language, she could tell he became incredibly uncomfortable.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” Kyle apologized like Cassandra was about to scold him.
Cassandra knew a bit about him so Kyle would understand if she didn’t want him near her child.
But this was a rare moment of Kyle showing a side of himself that only a mother could recognize.
He was a frightened little boy that expected the scolding of a mother but Cassandra smiled at him because that was the last thing she would do to this man.
She walked towards him but Kyle was already moving to drop the baby; Cassandra shook her head.
“He likes you,” Cassandra said, prompting Kyle to pause in his tracks with the baby in hand.
“H-He does?” Kyle asked and by now, Cassandra already closed the distance between them.
“Of course he does, can’t you see that smile?” Cassandra questioned as she snuck Kyle a peek and to her surprise, his eyes were soft.
“I’m glad,” Kyle responded.

Kyle snapped back to real reality and quickly handed her the baby shortly after.
Cassandra noticed the sudden shift, it was like something had possessed him.
“Are you okay?” Cassandra asked and Kyle nodded but there was something different about his smile.
It wasn’t the same one as he had a few moments ago and this naturally made her wonder what happened.
“I’m fine but I have to go, busy day ahead,” Kyle responded, shrugging it off because he was aware that he had shown a side to him that he didn’t know he had.
Kyle walked away and left the house but Cassandra couldn’t help but wonder if she had done something wrong.
However, this was a pivotal step in their relationship.

The movie had reached its conclusion and there was nothing left that could be done except for promotion.
That was exactly why Calista’s pictures with Lorenzo outside of her home went viral so fast.
Before the day concluded, it was everywhere on the internet.
Calista had asked Lorenzo for a favour but he declined because he was aware that this could backfire in ways that betrayed his relationship.
It was funny because that was exactly what was about to happen.
Lorenzo left her apartment shortly after because he knew she didn’t want him there.
This left her alone to her thoughts and her phone soon pinged to alert her of a tag.
The tags she got had reduced significantly over the past couple of hours because they were onto the next big thing.
Calista reluctantly checked her phone, but to her surprise, a picture of her and Lorenzo was trending.
She realized that her neighbours had not only taken a picture of them together but tagged a few channels that would spread it and make it go viral for some social media fame.
Calista kissed her teeth, realizing that it was time to leave this place because she knew how this looked.
This was the last thing she wanted happening but there was no way that she could escape as it had already come to pass.
All she could do right now was pray that Kyle wouldn’t misinterpret this.
There was a chance that Kyle might because she had already betrayed him once so his expectation of her had reduced drastically.
Calista was yet to come clean regarding that and the longer she waited, the worse it seemed.
The captions implied that they were a couple and he had visited multiple times prior to this despite it being the first time.
The truth was they had mistook him for Kyle despite them looking nothing alike.
And that was to be expected because of their similar height, Calista gritted her teeth in anger before looking outside her window.
She could see the POV of the shot and knew which house was responsible.
Calista had to let out her anger and let them know this wasn’t alright, it wasn’t fine to film someone without their consent and post online for the world to see.
She didn’t care how famous they wanted to be, there had been barriers drawn so they couldn’t do as they pleased.
Calista dashed outside the door and walked right to the person responsible, she was angry and it was clear by how she carried herself.
She saw the blinds clasp shut when she was within range of the house showing that these people were still watching her.
She thought that this place was safe, even after she got her car they didn’t snoop the way they did but that changed the moment she found out that she could potentially be a famous person.
It was surreal having a neighbour turned celebrity living right next to them so in that sense, one couldn’t blame them for their reaction.
Even if it did cross certain boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed.
Calista pressed the doorbell and could hear rapid movements within the house followed by whispers.
The door finally swung open to welcome her and it was a giddy lady who couldn’t contain her smile even though she was aware of why Calista was at her front door.
“What can I do for you, Miss Wave?” The neighbor was filled with excitement which made it harder for Calista to maintain her rage.
For the first time, she felt like someone important, a celebrity because the way this older woman looked at her was one of admiration, not contempt.
“I wanted to ask if you could take down the picture you posted, it is sending the wrong message,” Calista got right to the point even though her voice had softened.
“I’m afraid it is too late for that, it is already viral!” The lady responded.
Calista could tell this was her first viral tweet so the dopamine she got from that must still be in her system.
But she was right, there was no point doing this if it was already viral, however, this gave Calista an idea.
“Alright… How about a favour?” Calista said and of course, who would turn down a request from a ‘celebrity’?

Ella had gone through Jane’s phone and couldn’t get her mind off what she saw, it kept replaying in her head over and over again.
She never saw Kyle in that light but that picture did something to her brain chemistry because now, that was all she thought about.
Jane was still sleeping and Ella wondered if she should check for more of these things on her phone.
She already saw this so what harm could come from searching for others? It wasn’t like he was naked, to begin with so it should be fine.
She reached for her phone once again but Jane turned in her sleep before eventually opening her eyes.
Ella had retracted her hands fast enough to evade Jane’s gaze.
“Welcome back to the land of the living,” Ella greeted her friend, who was still somewhat dazed.
“Do we still have more food?” Jane asked, sounding like she was half-asleep.
“You can’t possibly be serious!” Ella barked at her friend but Jane just stared at her blankly before returning to sleep.
“This woman…” Ella thought to herself with a facepalm but she was glad that Jane woke up when she did because she was about to do something she knew she couldn’t come back from.
