Everything was clicking into place and Kyle came home to a clean home alongside cooked food.
He couldn’t contain his smile but was more surprised that Jane went out of her way to do this for him.
“Welcome home!” Jane was excited to see him, they were like a married couple.
Jane ran up to him, throwing her arms around him before planting a kiss on his lips.
“You look even more beautiful than I left you. Is this a sign to make this permanent?” Kyle teased, but as usual, Jane took this literally.
She looked to the ground and Kyle already expected this reaction, this was why he said it.
“Relax, I’m just joking,” Kyle stroked her hair, pulling her back to look right into her eyes.
“This isn’t to say I don’t want it but it is too soon,” Kyle established a boundary that should define their current situation.
“What kind of business have you been up to today?” Jane questioned, her face was red but she tried her best to change the topic.
“Are you sure you want to hear about my boring day?” Kyle questioned and the energy that Jane nodded felt like she would have a concussion at any moment.
“How about after dinner?” Kyle requested.
“T-That works for me,” Jane stuttered.
She ran to the kitchen to prepare the food she had made, laying it on the table for them to eat.
Kyle didn’t know if she was a traditional or modern woman but he didn’t care as long as she kept acting right.
Kyle was hopeful that the food she made was edible and wouldn’t send him to an early grave.
She made rice with some kind of stew, chicken stew?
Kyle couldn’t recall having chicken so this meant that she must have left the building to buy it.
That extra step showed she wanted to make an impression with her cooking.
She sat across him but the way her eyes subtly monitored him through her peripheral vision further showed how important this moment was to her.
Kyle smiled inwardly before taking a bite out of the food in front of him.
“WOAH!” Kyle exclaimed, jumping to his feet and startling Jane in the process.
Jane had no idea what was going on but she didn’t need to wonder for long as Kyle gave her an answer.
“This food is amazing! Are you sure you made it or do you have Gordon Ramsey hidden somewhere?” Kyle questioned, sitting back down as he stuffed his face.
“Oh my God! Stop it…” Jane couldn’t hold in her laughter but Kyle could see the relief on her face. This was why he reacted this way as any other reaction wouldn’t do moment justice.
The food was good regardless but his reaction was exaggerated even though Jane was aware.
She didn’t care because it showed Kyle was willing to do anything to bring a smile to her face.
“Does he like it that much?” Jane wondered because the way he was eating implied such.
He was so shameless and this was something Jane knew she could never do in his presence even with Ella there.
Kyle finished his food in the space it took Jane to take four spoons and this made her self-conscious because his attention was on her.
“Do you always eat so slowly or you’re trying to impress me?” Kyle questioned.
He knew that Jane had a big appetite, there was no way she could have it if she was a slow eater because by the time she finished the food.
It would be cold by the time she finished it and that wasn’t ideal if one thought about it.
Kyle already knew that she knew how to eat thanks to the eating competition that they had the other day so this meant that she was holding back.
Kyle didn’t feel the need to persuade again, he knew it was only a matter of time before she warmed up to him completely even though he already took her virginity.
He didn’t say another word and walked to the kitchen with his plate in hand, aware that Jane would appreciate the privacy granted to her by him.
He was right, he peeked and saw her devouring the food like a dragon bringing a smile to him.
Kyle took care of his dishes, washing them but Jane joined him a few moments later.
“That was fast, it is almost like my presence took away your appetite. Am I that hideous?” Kyle questioned, clearly looking sad.
“N-No! O-Of course not! You’re handsome! I didn’t mean it like that,” Jane was in a panic, explaining herself.
“Wait… Do you think I’m handsome? Are you coming onto me, Jane?” Kyle questioned.
Jane immediately got quiet, her head looking to the floor as she didn’t know how to respond to this.
“I-I am…” Jane responded, shocking Kyle. This was the first time she admitted to making a move on him and Kyle couldn’t contain his surprise.
“I must say, you have good taste but there is an even better taste…” Kyle said.
He drew her in by the waist before kissing her, slipping his tongue between those beautiful lips of hers.
“… There it is…” Kyle muttered, breaking away from her but Jane’s breathing was heavy.
“An even better taste,” Kyle concluded and Jane was gushing like a schoolgirl even though she should be used to his compliments by now.
There was nothing that she could do at the moment but smile and that was what she did.
Kyle wanted her but she just lost her virginity so he knew he needed to be gentle with her.
She might want him but there was no doubt she would still be sore, he couldn’t rush the process.
She had a taste of sex so her body craved that sensation again but with that new appetite, Kyle knew there was a way he could use it to maximize her desire.
Kyle’s hands cupped her buttcheeks in them before he whispered in her ear.
“I could take you right here and now,”
This sent a shudder down her spine, he wanted him to take her but once again, couldn’t verbalize her needs.
Kyle just stared at her like his controller disconnected, each second felt like minutes until that felt like hours.
Kyle didn’t say a word, he wanted to make her uncomfortable but his phone rang to break this awkward silence.
“Can you get it for me?” Kyle requested but this was tricky considering it could be anyone calling.
There was a good chance that it could be Calista as well so why wasn’t Kyle worried about anything?
That was easy, it was because he had everything under control and made it past the point of no return.
Jane helped him get his phone but she stared at it for a few seconds before returning.
“Who is it?” Kyle asked.
“It is a Calista…” Jane responded, Kyle could sense the unease in her voice and an idea popped up in his mind.
He wanted to see if Calista knew her place and this would act as a test to determine that.
“Can you help me answer and tell her I’m busy,” Kyle instructed Jane.
To Jane, this was Kyle reassuring her without words but to Kyle, this was him testing to see if Calista not telling Ella was a fluke or if she understood that she was one of multiple women.
Or if she would tell Jane everything if she had the chance? Kyle wasn’t about how Jane would react because he knew he could easily shape the narrative with her.
There was no way that she could leave even if she wanted to but this didn’t mean Kyle planned to intentionally hurt her.
“Hello?” Jane began the conversation, Kyle watched her body language closely.
“Um, Kyle isn’t with his phone right now,” Jane responded but she went quiet for a bit presumably listening to Calista speaking on the other end.
“Okay, I will,” Jane responded with a puzzled look.
The phone call soon came to an end but Kyle wasn’t in a hurry to ask what was discussed.
He just gestured for his phone, which Jane gave him with no hesitation.
“Want to tell me what you ladies talked about?” Kyle asked but Jane was momentarily zoned out before coming back to reality when Kyle snapped his fingers together like she was under hypnosis.
“Um, she said she wanted to know if you got home safely and that she was thankful for today,” Jane said but it was clear that Calista didn’t say anything that could potentially implicate him.

At that moment, Kyle knew that he had tamed the bitch known as Calista.
She knew not to overstep her boundaries but Kyle could tell that Jane was jealous.
She didn’t say it but her body language was all over the place.
“Come here…” Kyle gestured with his hand.
Jane couldn’t look him in the eyes as she did.
Kyle placed his hands on her hips and pulled her in.
“Are you jealous?” Kyle questioned with a smirk.
Jane began fiddling her fingers, not knowing what to do with them but she gave no verbal response to his question.
“You have nothing to be jealous of, no one compares to my princess,” Kyle said but once again, he didn’t tell her she was the only one granting him plausible deniability.
Jane didn’t care at the moment because he told her what she wanted to hear and that was evident by the big smile on her face.
