When Kyle returned to his place and noticed he had an incoming call, he excused himself from the ladies. It was Cassandra, and Kyle knew that he had to pay attention to the conversation that was about to transpire.
He was worried that Cassandra had cut him off only a couple of days ago but this had changed recently.
The fact that she was getting a divorce made everything easier for him but she was not to violate the rules he had set.
Kyle knew that this was an important thing for her because it would secure the future of her child.
Everyone had a price and this was hers, Kyle wondered if this would make him the child’s stepfather but the thought of it sent shivers down his spine considering he had no intention of marrying her.
She had a body that he would want to explore thoroughly, there was no escaping that lust even though she would be considered ‘fat’ in modern times but Kyle didn’t give a shit.
A menu has to consist of different flavours, which made it one, Kyle was glad that this was happening.
“Hello? Are you alright Cassandra?” Kyle questioned, she had no idea that he was fighting for his life just days back and Kyle wanted to keep it that way.
[[Kyle, I’m so sorry to be calling like this. I have no one else to ask…]] Cassandra skipped the small talk and got right to business.
This was something Kyle appreciated because he was a busy man and could guess that this was a financial problem.
“It is fine, I did give you permission to. How’re you?” Kyle spoke softly, he didn’t want her to feel like she was doing too much.
[[I’m not doing great if I’m being honest… I think I’m about to lose my child.]] Cassandra confessed and Kyle was visibly concerned by this because this was something he wasn’t going to let happen.
He didn’t like her ex-husband with the brief interaction they had and this was why he was going to do everything in his power to take this child from her.
Kyle had the money to hire the best lawyers in the world but didn’t know any so Cassandra would have to handle this task.
[[It Is the lawyer, he bailed on me and I have no idea what to do. I don’t even have the money to get a lawyer an-!]] Kyle interrupted her.
“Will $1,000,000 be enough?” This was the simple question Kyle asked and she began to stutter.
She couldn’t understand why he would suggest this amount knowing damn well it was excessive.
[[W-What are you doing?]] Cassandra questioned, she didn’t even know when she blurred these words out.
“I’m taking care of you just like I promised. Now send me your account details,” Kyle was authoritative, this conversation could be rounded up in a few minutes and he didn’t want to extend it more than he needed to.
[[O-Okay, I don’t know what to say. Thank you very much.]] Cassandra sounded like she was about to cry and Kyle could understand why.
The world wasn’t an easy place to live in and money was the one thing that life itself now revolved around.
“Haha! You sound a lot different, it is almost like you have decided to give yourself to me, is that the case?” Kyle asked and silence followed.
Kyle didn’t care about uncomfortable questions or putting her on the spot because while he wanted to keep her, he didn’t particularly care if she stayed or not.
He was about to say another word but Cassandra finally gave him a reply.
[[I don’t know if this is a good idea. You’re a young man and I don’t even think I can keep up with your libido and I know you will eventually get tired of me when you have another woman that has your interest. I have never done this polygamous thing before so I’m scared.]] Cassandra confessed.
“I don’t just need you for your body, Cassandra. I need you for everything you stand for. I will be lying if I say my eyes wouldn’t wander but your place will always be safe with me. And darling, look at you, there is no way I would get tired of that body of yours. How about we meet and discuss the details?” Kyle responded without missing a breath, he didn’t even need to think about it, telling Cassandra this was something that he had thought about.
[[That will be great!]] Cassandra exclaimed, Kyle managed to reassure her.
He wasn’t sure why she was so supportive of being involved in a polygamous relationship with him despite there being downsides but he didn’t care as long as she stuck to her side of the agreement.
Kyle noticed she hadn’t been added to the harem yet as well meaning she wasn’t emotionally attached to him.
The conversation came to an end and Ella soon entered the compartment he was in.
“You done?” Ella questioned to which Kyle nodded.
Kyle knew the last thing he needed was a messy situation that involved women.
He was going to be the biggest name in Hollywood and Kyle realized that with his latest skill acquisition, he could be an actor or entertainer if he wanted to.
He could replicate anything he saw and this included acting but he had no plans to go on the big screen even though that would give his source of income further credibility but he had taken care of that aspect already.
“Yeah, I am. What’s wrong?” Kyle questioned with a raised brow.
“I want to speak to you about Jane. I need to know… What are your intentions with her?” Ella questioned.
Kyle understood her concern considering they were getting far too close and it was only normal to understand his intention.
“My intention? Isn’t that obvious? I plan to make her my woman,” Kyle responded sternly.
“Is she the only one you’re talking to?” Ella pressed on, asking all the important questions because she knew it would only be a matter of time before Jane interrupted them.
She could have this conversation over the phone but wanted to judge his reaction in person.
“Why are you asking me these questions, Ella?” Kyle questioned but this was the only time he hadn’t given her a direct response which made her suspicious.
“Why aren’t you answering?” Ella responded with a raised brow prompting Kyle to chuckle.
“I would rather surprise you,” Kyle gave a cheeky reply, this made it hard for her to press on because this was an answer to her question despite it not giving anything away.
“What are you both doing there?” Jane’s voice could be heard alongside her footsteps.
“Ella was just telling me how she thinks we would make a cute couple,” Kyle responded.
“ELLA! OH MY GOD!” Jane was flustered by this but Kyle had to establish something there and then.
“Jane no longer belongs to just you, Ella. You need to accept that you no longer are responsible for her, she can stand on her feet,” Kyle warned her.
Ella treated Jane like a child and Kyle needed her to understand that Jane was more than capable of making her own decisions.
She wasn’t some damsel in distress either.
Ella didn’t know how to react to this and didn’t need to because Jane joined them soon after.
She looked at Ella and Ella could tell what she was trying to say.
Jane was as red as a tomato, Ella knew that Kyle was right even though she didn’t like it.
He was right, she couldn’t look after Jane forever, she had to trust her to look after herself.
“Fine, fine. I’m leaving,” Ella raised her hand in surrender.
She couldn’t be mad at Kyle even though she never got an answer to her question.
She understood that he would hold more power over Jane than she ever could and he has already proven himself to be more than capable of protecting her.
Ella left the place, leaving Jane and Kyle alone in his apartment.
Jane tensed up because her mind recalled what happened the last time that they were both alone at his place.
“Are you okay?” Kyle asked, placing his hand on her lower back prompting her to jolt like electricity ran through her body.
Kyle noticed this and immediately withdrew his hand because he wasn’t sure she was ready for that kind of physical contact.
There was a chance that the trauma lingered and he didn’t want to make her recall that moment.
“W-Why did you stop?” Jane questioned, mustering up all the courage in her.
Kyle was surprised because he wouldn’t expect her to say those words…. Ever.
“Are you sure you’re okay with it?” Kyle wanted to be certain and Jane nodded slowly.
“I-I’m ready, Kyle,” Jane said under her breath and this could only mean one thing.
She wanted Kyle to take her virginity, but the series of events had the opposite effect on her.
