Alyssa subtly nodded, “Anduin, Thor, Khadgar, I’m glad to meet you as well.”
She appraised Anduin up and down, asking, “Anduin, do you have any side effects from absorbing Xi Fan’s soul fragment?”
“None so far, Your Majesty,” Anduin politely replied, “I shadow-merged using Xi Fan’s soul fragment and have successfully advanced to the sixth rank, with the hope of becoming a legend within my lifetime, all thanks to the path pointed out by Lord Ke.”
“It’s precisely because of this that I hurried over to congratulate Lord Ke on his advancement as soon as I heard about it. I did not expect to meet you here.”
“So, it was a congratulatory visit for Ke,” Alyssa calmly and authoritatively remarked, “Then you should wait a bit. Ke just succeeded in his breakthrough. He will leave the Mage Tower once his state has stabilized.”
“As you command, Empress.” Anduin respectfully stood still, waiting for Su Yu to appear.
Rain of spiritual energy was still falling in Aphi city. It lasted five full minutes before gradually stopping.
In these five minutes, every player in the city earned around 30,000 experience points, nearly half of their total experience!
The city was filled with joy. As the players’ cheers resounded, the city sparkled with the bright white light of leveling up.
After the spiritual energy rain ended, Su Yu flew out from the shattered roof of the Mage Tower and landed beside the princess.
Due to his recent breakthrough, he could not perfectly control the terrifying power within his body. The formidable aura of a Sanctuary power spread unchecked throughout the city.
No one cared about this, though, as they all celebrated Su Yu’s breakthrough.
“Ke, have you successfully advanced?” Alyssa slowly approached Su Yu, her eyes filled with a gentle smile.
In Alyssa’s eyes, Su Yu’s speed of growth was nothing short of ‘staggering.’
In just three short years, he had gone from an ordinary mage apprentice to the sixth rank Sanctuary stage. This rapid progression could only be rivaled by a chosen one like Tina Garcia!
Alyssa looked at Su Yu with satisfaction. She certainly made the right choice in him.
Smiling back at Alyssa, Su Yu said, “Thanks to Your Majesty, my advancement was a complete success! Thanks to sending Master Sharon to safeguard my breakthrough. Otherwise, the Mage Tower that cost me millions of spiritual energy coins may have been destroyed.”
Alyssa waved her hand with a smile, “You’re too polite. Considering the tremendous merit you’ve earned for the Empire, it’s only right that I do this.”
“Now, I want to thank everyone else.” Su Yu suddenly turned to the players standing at the base of Mage Tower:
“Everyone owns the credit for my advancement. Without your tireless efforts to farm monster materials for me, I wouldn’t be celebrating this advancement today. So, thank you. I assure you, I will not let you down!”
At this, Su Yu bowed deeply to the players.
Many of the players present spent 12 hours a day hunting monsters in grinding areas, giving up dungeon exploration, questing, and fun elements of the game.
It was their dedication that generated a wealth of materials to back Su Yu, enabling him to break through Sanctuary in such a short time.

“Lord Ke, given your rapid progress, you must have missed many fourth and fifth-rank spells, correct? This is the access rune for our Silver Pine Spire Library. There you can learn all regular spells of the fourth and fifth ranks for a mage!”
“Thank you!” Su Yu accepted the rune with a smile.
