After a powerful First Rank explosion, the twenty or so Void Demons were immediately decimated, with only a few outer perimeter Zero Rank demons and three lucky First Rank demons surviving. This single energy grenade directly killed fifteen Zero Rank Void Demons.
Following a brief moment of triumph, one piece of bad news after another swiftly followed.
Outside the Ruins Market, the Cangqiong’s energy shield had completely overloaded. Attacks from the surrounding Void Demons began to strike directly onto the airship’s warship armor, damaging both the armor and the ship itself.
Inside the Ruins Market, the Spectral Energy Formation’s shield value officially dropped below twenty thousand. And under the corrosive influence of the Void Demons’ scorching black blood, the speed of the shield value’s depreciation became even more terrifying.
Song Chi’s heart sank to the bottom. At this rate, without even repelling the group of Void Demons, the Spectral Energy Formation would shatter first, and the entire Ruins Market would be entirely overrun.
