He purposefully avoided buying anything until his training was over so he could have a complete view of everything he needed and was lacking in.
After months of rigorous and dangerous training, he realized what he lacked the most was defense against powerful magic and skills.
Having Seras constantly seal his magic away made him realize opponents of her level would be able to do things like that easily which was simply unacceptable.
Even though evolved were rare and evolved of Seras’ level and above were even rarer, he wouldn’t take any chances.
He knew eventually he would have to clash with these monstrous beings so why not begin preparations now?

Suddenly, five identical silver rings with large red gems appeared in his palm.
Exedra slipped one on and then moved to place one on the bodies of his sleeping wives.
Sensing movement at the door, Exedra quickly moved to open it before that person could knock and risk waking his women.
“Ah!-” Standing at the door was a short maid that wore an intense blush.
