Xue Yan was already used to Jiang Yue’s ability to conjure things out of thin air, but the wooden bucket and water ladle looked very familiar. They must have come from his house, so he was shocked to see it appear out of thin air.
Jiang Yue quickly went to the ditch and fetched two buckets of water. She gave one bucket to Xue Yan and a water ladle, “Just water each plant a little, you don’t have to water too much.”

Jiang Yue went to help Xue Yan after she was done watering her side of the plants. When Xue Yan was done, she went to fetch two more buckets of water and brought them back quickly.
After all the new seedlings have been watered, she put the equipment back into her space.
Xue Yan didn’t know about the existence of space, he only knew that the ladle and the bucket disappeared in front of him.
At that moment, they heard Xue Dafu and the others calling for them. They had finished planting the soybeans and were ready to go home. Jiang Yue and Xue Yan were afraid that they would come to the field to check, so they quickly waited on the mountain road instead of waiting in the cornfield.
When Xue Dafu and the others appeared in their line of sight, their eyes brightened.
“Why haven’t you guys gone back yet?” Xue Erfu asked immediately.
Xue Yan knew that Jiang Yue didn’t like to lie, and neither did he, but he still took the matter into his own hands and lied, “We didn’t manage to finish plucking out the weeds. When Mother and Liu Guixia went back to cook, they even asked us to go back with them. We were having fun so we decided to stay longer. We were waiting for you guys to come back so we could go home together.”
Xue Dafu and the others casually glanced at the cornfield at the bottom of the mountain. It was a little far away, so they couldn’t see the seeds clearly. They didn’t know that half of the seedlings had been replaced.
Xue Dafu laughed.
“You kids. How much weed can you pull in an afternoon? If you have the heart, even if it’s just one blade of grass, we’ll be happy.
“It’s just been planted not long ago and there are not many weeds yet. You guys can slowly take your time, there’s no rush.”
With that, Xue Dafu bent down and asked Jiang Yue lovingly, “Jiang Yue, you’ve been busy the whole afternoon, are you tired?”
“Xue Yan was the one that pulled them out,” Jiang Yue replied. “I only played by the side. I’m not tired.”

They went down the mountain together.
