"Do not take this the wrong way, Misen, but...you seem far more pleasant than usual, almost as if you are a completely different person," Remarked Ekai, as we finished eating.
"I was thinking the same thing...I have never seen you so cheerful before," Added Siert curiously.
Huh, maybe I overdid it. It was about an hour after I ran into Ekai, and then met up with Siert in a restaurant and had some lunch. During which, I spent my time chatting with them, though I was careful to avoid any topics that might bring up the past.
And they definitely seemed surprised by me talking to them so much, which isn't surprising. I mean, if Misen suddenly got all friendly towards me, I'd definitely be wondering if something was wrong.
I haven't really ever gotten along with him, but I have to admit, he's slowly but surely grown on me. I definitely don't dislike him. But he's still a dick, and I'd be lying if I said that that I didn't get the desire to punch him in the face every now and then.
I guess I'd call him a frenemy. So, yeah, I was willing to help him out here, and I was currently attempting to do so by strengthening his relationship with some of the few friends that he does have.
"Yeah, I guess I am in a pretty good mood today. You'll probably never see me like this ever again, so enjoy it while it lasts," I replied to them with a grin.
"You are even talking a bit differently to how you usually do...are you sure that you're okay?" Inquired Ekai skeptically.
Okay, yeah, I definitely overdid it. Oh, well, doesn't matter. It's the thought that counts, after all!
"I'm fine, there's nothing to worry about. I'm allowed to be happy, aren't I?" I responded nonchalantly.
"Well, I suppose it is rather nice to see such a different side to you," Said Siert with a nod.
"Agreed, even if it a bit disconcerting, it is certainly quite pleasant," Added Ekai in agreement.
Damn, they've probably known him longer than anyone else that's still alive, but even they've never seen him be so nice before? Maybe I should have tried imitating him a bit better...I've been making sure to copy his mannerisms and speech patterns, but now that I think about it, I've definitely slipped a few times and overdone it.
"Well, as I said, don't get used to it," I remarked wryly.
"So you say, but it almost feels like you are a completely different person," Replied Siert, half-jokingly.
"Coming from you, that's a bit ironic," I countered with a smirk.
"Fair enough, I suppose."
These two are both really nice, how'd Misen manage to make friends with them? Guess I'll ask him later. Also, how does this body swap thing work? I mean, I'm using his brain right now, but it's not like I can see his memories or something...and I can recall all my memories, I think.
Are memories not stored in the brain after all? Or maybe Az did something with the spell to make sure that the memories would transfer over? I mean, otherwise, there'd be no point to the spell in the first place.
"Now, we should get going, Siert. Time for training...Misen, would you like to join us?" Inquired Ekai, after the waiter brought us the bill and we paid the amount owed.
I probably shouldn't...I've never used Lightning Magic before, and my fighting style is pretty different to Misen's, so...
"Maybe some other time, I've got some work to do in the castle shortly, so I need to get going too," I replied apologetically.
"Oh, alright. In that case, see you later, Misen, good luck with whatever it is you have to do," Said Ekai, as we stood up and began heading out of the restaurant.
"Yes, good luck," Added Siert.
"Thanks, you two. And good luck with your training, see you guys later," I waved, as we parted ways upon exiting the restaurant.
Guess I'll head back to the castle and switch back to my old body. This was nice while it lasted, but I have a feeling that if I roam around in this body for too much longer, I might end up creating a big mess.
Huh, on that note, I wonder what he's been doing with my body? Heh, not knowing is actually kinda hot. Oh, looks like his dick is swelling up again...maybe I should give the brothel another shot?
It was kinda expensive, but I'll pay him back once we're back in our old bodies. Yeah, I think I'll go take another crack at the brothel, or maybe I should try a different one? Let's see if I can last longer this time around, I'm pretty excited to-...
"I FINALLY FOUND YOU!" Exclaimed a very familiar voice, as someone tackled me from behind and knocked me down onto the ground...ow, that kinda hurt my boner, it might have snapped in half if it was fully hard...I think.
Wait, that was...my voice. Okay, so it's Misen...
"Oh, uh...hey, dude! I was just about to return to the castle so that we can switch back, so-...ow, ow ow!" I began to respond, before he cut me off by pulling on my ear, hard.
"You perverted little idiot, what is your problem!?" He exclaimed indignantly, as several passersby stopped and began whispering amongst themselves.
"Hey, uh, you probably shouldn't damage your own body, you know. And, well, we've got an audience," I replied sheepishly.
"...tch, come with me," He muttered irritably, pulling me to my feet and dragging me in the direction of the castle.
"Aw, why so grumpy? I'm sure you had at least a little bit of fun in my body, right-?" I began teasingly, as I reached out and gave my left boob a squeeze.
"Stop that!" He snapped, slapping my hand away before adding, "And of course I didn't have any fun in this stupid, perverted body!"
"Hey, my body's not perverted, only my mind is!" I protested, before adding as I flicked my boob, making it jiggle, "And why should I stop touching my own body?"
"Because we are in public, you idiot!" He hissed in a loud whisper.
"Yeah, but that's what makes it hot," I pointed out.
"...let's just hurry up, get to the castle and find Azyl already," He sighed in exasperation.
...
"...and that's about it, I guess," I remarked, as I finished explaining what I'd gotten upto in his body.
Turns out that all he had done was look for me, instead of having any fun with my body. I mean, what kind of guy finds himself in a girl's body and doesn't grope the shit out of it!?
"Wha-...you pretended to be me and had lunch with Ekai and Siert? Why!?" He exclaimed indignantly.
"Huh? I just figured that I'd improve your relationship with them, since you don't really have many other friends. You seemed kinda distant from people in general lately, I figured you must be going through an emo phase or feeling guilty over being a dick and all, and I decided to fix it, you're welco-," I started to say.
"Wait, what are you talking about? I am not being distant or anything, I have just been very busy recently!" He snapped with an exasperated look on his face.
Oh...I, uh, guess I was just overthinking it. Oops.
"Okay, uh, my bad...I read too much into it."
"Now, more importantly...you stupid bitch, why did you go to a brothel in my body, huh!?" He exclaimed in bewilderment, as he grabbed my shoulders and shook me.
"Right, about that...I just wanted to feel what it's like to do the inserting for once, instead of being the one inserted into, you know? It was kinda hard to control though, a few seconds in and splat, splat," I surmised, recalling my session in the brothel.
"...once we are back in our own bodies, you are going to go around and tell every single person that you interacted with in my body the truth!" He growled in frustration.
"Aw, but that sounds like a pain. And besides, excluding the prostitute I fucked in your body, I didn't really interact significantly with anyone besides Ekai and Siert."
"Maybe so, but Fuo saw you enter and leave the brothel!" He informed me with a glare.
"Oh...sorry about that, but hey, what can you do, am I righ-?" I shrugged wistfully.
"YOU CAN go and tell her that it was you, not me! And that when 'you' spoke to her, that was actually me!"
"So...whatcha gonna do if I refuse?" I smirked teasingly in response.
"Kill you, and then myself," He replied without hesitation, before adding as he met my gaze, "It's your choice. Pick whichever one you want."
I, uh, think he's probably bluffing, but...his eyes looked dead serious. Guess that, uh, running all over the place and looking for me really wore him down, huh. I should probably do as he says...
