Once Levi Starchild left, Mingzhi dropped her cold demeanor and sent a soul transmission to Yotan.
"Very strange…" Yotan agreed, "But he explained his reasons like a good subordinate. I suppose we can give him some of our time and listen to his current condition before we leave."
"You're always good to fellow subordinates, huh?" Mingzhi giggled.
"Then I guess the plan of utterly using him that I just thought of in order to conquer the Starfall Gaze Lower Realm needs to disappear. Perhaps I'll just take advantage of him a bit…"
"…" Yotan turned speechless.
They had just seen him, and Mingzhi probably already constructed a route to conquer this realm from what she heard.
"In that case, we need to hear more from him."
"Yes," Mingzhi nodded, "The timing couldn't be any worse. I can't leave this kid alone. She's mine now. I'm going to take care of her like I would do for my own daughter, but a bit different since I wish for her to become one with Tianyu in the future. If I had my avatar, I would leave it here, but unfortunately, I don't have an avatar anymore. I could leave my soul body-"
"There's no need to consider everything right off the bat."
Yotan interjected, "We'll first return with the child and make sure she's well fed. Then, if we still need to conquer an additional realm, we'll return."
"You're right…"
Mingzhi heaved a breath. She supposed she got too ahead of herself. They were already burdened with the protection of three Lower Realms. To add one more would be difficult. Still, it wasn't like she was going to bring the forces here. She considered more along the lines of putting Levi Starchild as a shadow ruler since he already considered himself their subordinate.
She had used Heart Intent, so she didn't sense any lies in his statement. In essence, she could feel it was even more intense, like he truly considered himself a part of their forces, leaving her momentarily speechless, and wanting to take a step back a bit.
Nonetheless, she thought of installing Levi Starchild as this realm's Realm Master and not interfering much.
Otherwise, it would be considered an invasion, and she would bring Davis loss of face and destroy the agreement he had with Venerable Knight Lussandra. She could see why Yotan would be careful about it.
Mingzhi and Yotan waited. They cleared the coast.
As expected, Levi Starchild didn't fail to meet their expectations.
As a Level Four Immortal Emperor, he managed to take back the treasures. As for his prowess, they figured he was in the realm of a Kingly Sovereign, his prowess seven levels higher. Otherwise, he wouldn't be seen as a threat by the other candidates who are gearing up to be the next Realm Master of the Starfall Gaze Lower Realm.
He seemed to be doing well at a glance but then, he wouldn't need to be forced to do something humiliating like getting caught and treated like shit in a cellar, even if it was faked.
"Many thanks for the direction, Fairy Yotan."
Levi Starchild cupped his hands and lowered his head.
"Mhm~"
Yotan nodded, "If I said for you to come back to the Divine Emperor of Death, will you return?"
"Yes~"
Levi Starchild went on one knee, his gaze straight, "While I was stumbling all my way here, I have heard the news of the spectacular achievements of the Divine Emperor of Death. I must say- his eminence is someone I'm willing to follow from the bottom of my heart. As for whether he's evil or not, I personally witnessed his actions many times. I know who I'm dealing with. I don't care that he's an Anarchic Divergent. To me, he's my utmost benefactor whom I'm willing to die for."
Yotan's gaze flickered. A light smile appeared on her face as she nodded.
"It's good that you can see his eminence's greatness. There's no need for you to come back right now. You will see to your right as the Polestar Family's descendant and inherit the Lower Realm. Once you do so, do as you see fit."
"Yes! I will fulfill my bloodline's utmost expectations, especially if it's a command from the Divine Emperor of Death."
"Good, good." Yotan nodded again.

Mingzhi felt like she had entered some cult for a moment.
She knew Yotan practically worshiped Davis, but what about this man? Why had he also become this devout? Had the news of Davis's achievements really accomplished that much to shake him so much that he was willing to give it all?
Mingzhi couldn't find any strange emotions in Levi Starchild, meaning he really had become a devout follower since the time he hadn't seen them. She couldn't believe it, feeling suspicious.
"Tell me how you trudged through the world. We hadn't even heard from you after you were taken to the First Haven World. Speak, where and what were you doing all these years? If I heard some lies, I would not hesitate to flatten you~"
Mingzhi waved her hand, causing Levi Starchild to tremble.
He could sense she was a terrifying Empyrean. In fact, he knew she had battled against Venerable Knights. Although he didn't know who exactly they were and how powerful they were, he had heard they were among the most powerful of Heaven's Warriors. If she could go toe to toe against them, then there was no need to doubt her intentions.
Levi Starchild nodded and began to speak, "After I was taken to the First Haven World by the Glorious Pill Palace's Immortal, who came to retrieve Farah Lanate, we settled in its branch palace, but Vacuous Beasts later destroyed the area, so we had to move. Later on, I was found by the Starrye Family of the Crimson Sangreal Alliance. It turns out that they are also descendants of the Polestar Family of this realm, but only a minority. Regardless, they found my aptitude was extremely good and decided to nurture me into one of their finest."

I was also forced to marry a woman of the main family, although it's only in name."
Hearing till this point, Mingzhi narrowed her eyes, "Oh? So, where's your family? Are they safe, or are they held hostage? What about Farah Lanate, who Davis saved from your own ancestor?"
She asked, and a burst of sadness abruptly emerged from Levi Starchild's heart, his expression wilting a bit.
