Davis returned to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary.
Since he was free, he showed Empress Hexena Xylusc around, letting her choose a place for her clan in the vast void dust lands. She made it clear she wanted to be in the same mini-realm as they were, and he agreed.
For starters, he gave her a lot of contribution points, with the reason being she was Evelynn's inheritance master.
They went to the Treasury, where they met with lesha.
Empress Hexena Xylusc used that to buy land, construction materials like ores, and resources for cultivation in order to start the revival of the clan. She was going to concentrate on young royals like Fahzi and even bestow them with Emperor-Tier Blood Essence if the Davis Family successfully made the prisoner an Emperor-Tier Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid.
Evelynn had agreed to hand over seventy percent of the blood essence to the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan, after all.
Although Davis was free, he wasn't so free as to entertain Empress Hexena Xylusc for a long time, so he bid farewell and was about to leave when a figure dashed toward her and pounced on her.
"Mother!"
Viridia hugged Empress Hexena Xylusc and echoed happily, "You came back~"
Evidently, Empress Hexena Xylusc was dumbfounded.
Azariel was also going to jump, but then he noticed the strangeness, his big smile fading. He turned to look at Davis, wondering why his father was with someone who looked like his mother yet not. He couldn't understand. I ad his mother's aura changed?
But... wasn't this magical beast aura? She had become a magical beast!? From blood imbalance!?
Viridia also recognized the difference slowly. She looked confused as she slid down. However, Empress Hexena Xylusc caught her and caressed her head.
"Mother will be back soon. You two should obediently wait for a bit more time."
Hearing another voice come from their 'mother's' mouth, they were alarmed.
Davis chose to interject at this moment.
"She's your mother's inheritance master, Empress Hexena Xylusc. What are you two doing? Pay your respects."
Azariel and Viridia responded by gaining a respectful distance and bowing to her.
"Lovely children, there's no need to be formal in front of me. Although I am your mother's inheritance master, I owe her very much."
Empress Hexena Xylusc fondly looked at them. She could faintly recall them from Evelynn's memories, which means they were also a huge part of her life. However, she didn't remember them being this tall. She could tell they had grown a bit, making her joyful.
Still, she was inwardly shocked to see them retain Emperor-Tier's bloodline. That was a feat that many magical beast progenies were incapable of.
"But- but we heard that you had died..." Azariel expressed his doubts.
His face hadn't gone pale, but he certainly looked confused.
Evidently, he refused to accept things as they were told. Davis couldn't help but smirk, knowing his first son was smart and cunning.
"Oh, that-" Empress Hexena Xylusc didn't hesitate to explain how she was revived. She had been reborn from their mother's soul essence using the uniqueness of the remnant of her true soul essence left inside her.
"Woah!" Azariel looked dumbfounded, "In that case, you're no different than our mother. You two could be said to be soul sisters like Mother Myria and Mother Ellia. We could also call you mother Hexena if you'd like."
"How pleasant~"
Empress Hexena Xylusc couldn't stop smiling, feeling as though she was at home. However, the next words that came out of Azariel dumbfounded her.
"Yeah. It won't be long before you become father's woman. You have my condolences." Davis gawked, "You brat."
He reached out his hand, but Azariel dodged, grinning, "Ha! You're attacking me because I'm right, father. No one escapes your grasp in this mansion. A good standard to measure them is that if they're here in the mansion- they're eventually yours."
"..." Davis went speechless.
Was this how a twelve-year-old would speak?
Azariel then took off running as though he had won while Viridia pouted.
"He's spouting baseless rumors and being a bully like always, father. Don't be disheartened."
"Ah, Viridia is the one who understands me the most."
Davis melted as he bent down to her level and caressed her cheek, "Wait for some more time, okay? Mother will be back soon. I have sent her on an errand. It should take no more than three days if all goes well."
"Mhm, okay-"
Viridia nodded.
Davis kissed her forehead. Viridia was sharp, but she was kind and a good girl. She was also the one who took care of Lucian the most, having a soft spot for his struggles. She was like the elder sister everyone wanted, being there to help when needed.
On the other hand, Azariel was the exact opposite. At this rate, Davis feared he would grow into a hedonist if he misused his influence and authority.
He had the makings of a silk pants young master, after all. As soon as his mother left, he started going after women subconsciously. Davis guessed Azariel was probably vexed that father had it all and wanted to take revenge for the incident where he chided him that day for frolicking with Fenren's twin daughters.
Davis could only shake his head.
If Azariel got mad because of that, then he guessed Fenren and the others didn't allow him to play with their daughters anymore. In that case, he could understand Azariel's outburst.
'Good brothers..."
Davis inwardly thanked Fenren and the others before ruffling Viridia's purplish-green hair that was like her mother's. He was greatly fond of Viridia.
"Alright, go play."

Viridia left. Davis stood up and turned to look at Empress Hexena Xylusc.
"Sorry about that. Azariel has a bad mouth but he's got a point. Women are safe in my mansion but not from me." He proudly echoed.
"I don't see the danger."
Empress Hexena Xylusc looked around. She looked totally clueless, pretending as though there was no threat.
Davis inwardly groaned. It seemed like chasing away new prospects wasn't possible unless he was rude.
Seeing him go silent, Empress Hexena Xylusc giggled. The time she got to know him was short, but she knew she could tease him. He didn't seem like a stuck-up person. She cupped her hands and then left. They had already made plans to meet, evolve, and execute the prisoner later.
Davis saw her leave and heaved a sigh of relief. However, he suddenly saw Esvele staring at him from the other end of the hallway. He blinked at her, but she eventually walked past, wherever she went, the dust disappearing as she cleaned.
Davis didn't know what that was about.
Nonetheless, he waited for some time, making sure that there was no one who watched him before he ran back to the Treasury and pulled Tesha to a corner, starting to make love with her.

A sweet voice full of long echoed as he embraced his lovely ice spirit.
